In his first tweets since being traded to the New York Jets last week, Tim Tebow sent out four tweets and poked fun at himself: “I’ve already said it 44 times so here goes number 45: I’m really excited to be a Jet! Haha!” Tebow used the word “excited” repeatedly during his 30-minute introductory news conference.
He says he’s “anxiously looking forward” to getting to work and vows to “Fireman Ed and the rest of Jets nation” that he’ll play his heart out in New York.
Go Tebow! I hope you never give up being a starting NFL quarterback. I just read his article where he said he may never again be a starting quarterback, I hope all the haters are not getting to him. He is such a strong person I could never deal with all the sarcastic and hateful things said each day about Tim, he truly is an inspiration to us all.
Never give up Tim we are all behind you!
If you listen to the radio show that the article is quoting, Tebow never said that. The writer of the article infered that from Timmy’s saying “I don’t know the future, but I know who hold the future.” Again, media slant not quite accurate. I quarantee you he has not given up on being a QB.
I took that comment as another example of Tim being meek and not wanting to start a QB controversy with Mark Sanchez. Deep inside, he knows he’ll start again, well to the point any of us “knows” the future.
