How Will Tebow Respond?

There’s no denying it – Tim Tebow played pretty bad vs. the Lions. All players have bad games here and there, but the great Quarterbacks (guys like Manning, Brees, Brady, Rodgers) will put the bad game behind them and bounce back the next week with a stellar performance. That’s what being great means. This coming week vs. Oakland we will see if Tim can forget about the Lions and perform how we know he can. But most importantly, win the game.

I heard Mike Silver of Yahoo Sports on Jim Rome yesterday. He believes that Tebow is on a very short leash in Denver. The Broncos really do what to see what they have in Tim and need more than 2-3 games to get a full evaluation. So Silver thinks Tim will get at least a few more games, but if he continues to stink it up then they will move to Brady Quinn.

Tim has to seize this opportunity. This is his one chance to prove to everyone that he can be a starting QB. Does he have the heart for it – yes. Does he have the skill set – that’s still to be determined.

Tebow will start this week, but Coach Fox wouldn’t comment on anything after. “I think at the end of the day, we’ve got to see if he can improve and get better in the passing game,” Fox said.

Post a comment and let us know, how do you think Tim Tebow will respond to the poor play last week and all the criticism he’s taken this week.

I know how Tim is capable of responding, with a good team around him. Just look at the Cinncinnati (sp?) game he played in after the huge loss to Alabama. He came back big time. It was one of his best games with a team that believed in him wholeheartedly. I don’t know if this team will rally like the Gators did and make it a whole team effort. I don’t know if the coaches really want him to succeed. This whole situation is breaking my heart.

The real question is, “Does he have the time?” More correctly worded, “Will the offensive line give him more time or will they continue to hang him out to dry?”

Believe he is very capable of compartmentalizing and will pull off a TT miracle moment!! Hope the team follows through and forgets about the “sour grapes” Orton spreading it all around the locker room…just like Brandon Lloyd had a noted attitude problem when Ortonary couldn’t make connections when it counted in the red zone and disgustedly threw his hands up in the air; seems like this could be the scenario with switched alliances. If the Broncos are a smart team they will get behind one of the winningest QBs and give 110% like Tebow which can work to all their benefits…who doesn’t like to win?!!!! As far as the coaches go, they are already a “lost cause” and the whole team should make it a point to win in spite of their garbage then they will have to concede and will definitely have “egg” on their face! But, knowing them they will try to even take credit for that also! Hope EFX are exposed for the sabotage that has taken place and this is no conspiracy theory either!!!
Tebow will get the job done like he always has one way or another!!!

CK, you know that Tim and his brother Robby are on Twitter. There’s no guarantee that either will catch your Tweet but Tim does try to read a lot and sometimes responds individualy and sometimes generically to let fans know that he is aware of the support and encouragement. He is also on Facebook. He posts his game scriptures to both sites. I usually log on to one or the other when my family gets home from Church on Sundays so we can see what he has posted. If you go to the Bronco web page, he looked upbeat in his presser yesterday. I am praying for Sunday!!! I like you GBT2!

I thought this article worthy of distribution. I don’t agree with every word, but she’s got the basic sentiment right.

I like the post: Tim if you are reading…. Here is more:

We are all out here hoping and praying for your sucess. You are an inspiration for so many, and that pressure alone has to be overwhelming. As a senior citizen, I so deeply admire your devotion to your faith, family and job. No one, recently in the public eye has been so scrutinized. Like your reply under question re: How does the critisism affect you?…

You start off with answer to many tough questions with: “Honestly…”, and even though in your own mind, there must be even some small quantity of doubt, you come through with the answers that are important, and inspiring. You are a true leader. You WILL be a great NFL QB!!! (Maybe not take as long as Aaron!!)

Elway spotted at Stanford Practice scouting Andrew Luck

Still think it’s crazy that Elway wants Tebow to fail?

David: Read that too and am not the bit surprised by it; however, whether Elway and Co. like it or not Tebow will find a way to win and that will be the end of all their dealings b/c the fans will not let Elway get away with this which is really obvious by now!!! They (EFX) are both like the “EMPEROR WITH NO CLOTHES!” BESIDES WE KNOW WHO IS ON TEBOW’S SIDE AND THAT MAKES A MAJORITY!!!

oops…”not the least bit surprised” needed a correction.
Also, just proves the theory of “say one thing and do another.” Elway with his nonexecutive decision making skills should be the one scrutinized as this does not instill confidence in players when you are doing deals behind the scenes instead of supporting the players that you presently have (no wonder he was benched several times as a player for not performing at a satisfactory level). It appears that being a former NFL QB who is now unable to perform b/c of being incapacitated
-and someone even mentioned one too many concussions-does not necessarily translate into having the required management skills set needed let alone qualifying as VP material in regards to The Bronco’s Football Operations!! Maybe his position should be questioned since the way he has conducted himself is less than honorable and is not to be expected of a VP…the fans should consider giving him a daily dose of a no confidence vote and see how he deals with that; i.e., writing letters of condemnation as to his unsavory practices as well as sending e-mails and holding up signs at the stadium asking for his replacement/termination plus calling in with scathing attacks on his so-called “ELWAY’S EGOMANIA SHOW!” THE QUESTION THAT SHOULD BE ASKED IS: HOW MANY CHANCES SHOULD HE BE GIVEN? MAKES YOU WONDER IF THE BRONCOS WOULD BE MUCH BETTER OFF WITHOUT HIM; SOME ENLIGHTENED FANS ARE ALREADY TURNING AGAINST HIM B/C OF HOW HE HAS CONDUCTED HIMSELF!! (HIRING FOX IS INDEFENSIBLE UNLESS IT WAS HIS PLAN TO LOSE ALL ALONG AS OTHERS HAVE STATED AND THAT IS NOT HOW YOU SHOULD OPERATE IF YOU ARE TRYING TO WIN GAMES–MUST BE TRUE DUE TO HIS SCOUTING EFFORTS RECENTLY–THIS JUST PROVES HOW INCAPABLE HE IS OF RECOGNIZING THE VALUE OF CERTAIN PLAYERS WHO ARE PROVEN WINNERS!!! AND THAT IS JUST ONE INSTANCE!!)
IN A PERFECT WORLD HE WOULD HAVE BEEN GONE BY NOW AND THEY WOULD HAVE A REAL VP INSTEAD OF A DELUSIONAL EXFOOTBALL PLAYER WHO HAS FAILED AT MOST OF HIS BUSINESS VENTURES AND DOES NOT HAVE THE EXPERIENCE AT BEING A VP TO BE PRODUCTIVE IN THAT POSITION…BOWLEN NEEDS TO WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE BEFORE HE LOSES MOST OF HIS FAN BASE!!!
(Reading about his activities at Stanford makes for a lot of angry fans venting, me included…will try to refrain from stating what is blatantly wrong with Bronco’s unprofessional management team! Difficult not to be frustrated with his actions which negatively effect the Broncos and especially Tim!!!)

CK, not only will Elway’s efforts to get Luck be the end of Tebow’s development with the Broncos, it will not be in the best interest of the team. The Broncos have not lost enough games to be the first pick in the draft, where Luck is forecast to go. They will have to trade every draft pick they have as well as future draft picks to get Luck. The Broncos are a team in the rebuilding process in need of many players, not just one. If they do draft him under those circumstances, Luck will play with the same team they have now for a couple of seasons. That seems like poor management to me. In addition, Tebow still has 3 years on his contract so he will spend that time with no development as Luck’s backup or maybe even third string to Luck and Weber. I’m just counting on Timmy to come through loud and clear with wins this weekend and going forward so that he can show other teams he has promise and ask to be traded to someone else. I am in Florida and a Gator Mom, so my only interest in the Broncos is Timmy. I want him to have the best situation. He deserves someone who believes in him.

Timmy has GOT to come out and play well today. The Broncos have dressed Quinn and designated him QB2 with the intention of replacing Tebow if he plays as he has been playing. Timmy’s NFL career could have only one half to go. GO TEBOW GO!!! Broncos support him! Show your pride against the Raiders! GBT2!!!!!

Now we know how Timmy will respond and the amazing thing is that this is a team win. I hope the other Broncos now know how great they can be with Timmy as their QB. How sweet it must be for them to beat the bad ol’Raiders in their own stadium by two touchdowns.

Nice game all around for Denver led by their young QB with 117 yards rushing and a 98.1 passer rating. Except for the too conservative play calling in the 3rd, a decent plan to finally let Tebow move around in the backfield and do what only he can do. And it opens the door for other players when the D has to focus on Tim. And against the Raiders to boot. Nothing is more important to the average Bronco fan, then beating the tar out of the Silver & Black. GBT2!

DEFINITELY A HUGE WIN FOR THEIR #1 QB & THE BRONCOS!!! ACTIONS DO SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS AND HE CAN BACK IT UP B/C HE IS A PROVEN WINNER!
