Criticism has poured in from around the league about Denver’s new offense surrounding Tim Tebow. Critics and analysts say that the offense will not last more than a couple of games and teams will begin to figure it out. The bottom line is Tim has such a huge upside, and he has performed well through his eighth start in the NFL. John Fox is a coach who wants to win and wants to win now. He’s going to do what he can to make sure Denver is an effective running team which will enable them to keep winning. Right now with the Broncos under Tebow’s control, Fox’s package allows them to run the ball effectively and allow Tim to make the throws he is comfortable making. Don’t be surprised to see Tim throw the ball a little bit more in the coming weeks as his comfort level as a pocket passer will need to develop. Eventually, Fox and Tebow will slowly start to work back to Fox’s conventional power ground game offense, but for now Tebow’s scheme has helped Denver win three in a row and four of five. Whatever offense Denver runs, Tim is going to succeed in it, that’s just the winner he is. The patience of the coaching staff is key in allowing Tim to reach those levels of prototypical drop back passer. Whether Fox and Elway have the willingness and faith in Tebow to lead this franchise is the real question at hand.
Denver’s Game Plan with Tebow

I agree with this, I think that Tebow will prove all his doubters wrong soon enough (even Stephen A. Smith and Cris Carter), because he simply refuses to do anything other than win. His whole life he has been told he can’t win, but despite the constant criticism, Timmy perseveres!
He will prove his doubters wrong because to Tebow (and as our mindsets should be) impossible is nothing. Tim will work harder than anyone to become a good pocket passer. I believe his work ethic mixed with his god given ability will soon be able to silence his critics.
I agree with everything in this article, especially the question about Elway and Fox. I think Fox will come to love Timmy sooner than Elway. In fact, I see hints of it now. I believe, if Timmy keeps improving and wins a few more of the remaining games, that Elway may find himself the odd man out if he does not invest himself in Timmy. Can you imagine, if the Broncos finish the season well, Elway telling the media, “I am going to draft ( one of these QB’s he’s been spending his Saturday’s with) and we’re going to trade Tebow”? I would not want to ba anywhere near Denver. If these guys will give Timmy the off season to get ready for next year, I predict the playoffs. If they don’t, they can keep on trying to find the right person and rebuilding and get themselves prepared to be beaten by a Tebow led team. Love Tebow or regret it later. GBT2
Hi Tisa! Did a time-out due to Thanksgiving. Believe you are right about Fox doing a 180 b/c if he lost any more games under Orton then he was in obvious danger of not keeping his head coaching position. Amazing how everything has changed for the better now that T2 is where he should have been all along!!! Read an article where Fox has ties that go back to superbowl championships so maybe he can help Tim excel further and not only that, they have all the tapes from Meyer that were used to win games w/Tebow…think maybe he (Coach Fox) has learned from his earlier mistakes in judgement, hopefully!!! He was quoted as saying he gets that Tim Tebow is a “Role Model!!!”
Anyway, it will be exciting to see him play on Sunday against the SD Chargers and it is entirely possible that the Broncos can win this game too!!!

Getting to watch my beloved Gators get speared by the Noles! Hating that. Looking forward to tomorrow. I think the Broncos can win this one as well. Hope that Timmy can get a few more passes into the game. We all know he can pass. GBT2!!!!! Go Tebow!!!!
@ Tisa: Yes, that game was hard to watch…ouch! Guess Brantley was not the answer they thought he was. Can’t stand how “The Criminoles” were absolutely brutal in attacking Rainey’s knee!!! Hope he is going to be okay as he was one of a kind along with Trey Burton!! Should have let Trey be the QB IMO!!!
Just one comment…noticed that this article was authored by someone named Luke and not David; however, I would agree that Tebow has more than earned his position as an NFL starting QB and wins in unconventional ways which takes everyone by surprise!! Someone stated that Revis (NY Jets CB) did not fall asleep as he predicted and even praised Tim Tebow on his offensive game winning 95 yard drive!! Either way you look at it, the Broncos are a different team with Tebow and know they can win with their QB!!! Can’t wait for Elway to finally realize a few things like Fox is starting to do!!!!
