It’s never too early to start thinking about fantasy football. I know there are a lot of you already looking at the magazines and websites trying to come up with the perfect winning strategy for 2011. Does that winning strategy involve drafting Tim Tebow ?
Tim finished the 2010 season with 24, 24, and 31 fantasy points in his three starts – which is better than Brady, Manning and Rivers. Yet, when you look at a lot of fantasy football ADPs they all have Tim in the 15-20 range. Fantasy Football Calculator is one of my favorites – this is what they have right now:
By the end of preseason when Tim has won the starting job, he’ll be projected to finish in the Top 10 in Fantasy points for a QB for sure. It’s the fact that he runs the ball and will score rushing touchdowns that makes him such a threat in fantasy football. He’ll never light it up through the air in Denver, but if he can rush for 600 yards and 6-7 touchdowns then he’ll win somebody a championship.
Where do you rank Tim Tebow on your fantasy football draft board?
