During the lockout there’s really not a lot of football to talk about. Players aren’t allowed to practice at the facility – so they’re being forced to organize workout sessions on their own. Usually we’d have some mini camp news to talk about right now. Thankfully, Tim Tebow has a lot going on right now to keep us busy at this blog.
But ultimately, we’d love to be talking football right now. Especially with Tim trying to fight for the starting job in Denver. Not having a chance to practice and compete in front of new head coach John Fox will hurt his chances.
The Broncos were one of the worst teams in the NFL last year. I just got done looking through their 2011 Schedule and see 5-6 winnable games right now. Anything can happen once the season starts, but as it stands right now … they could be in for a rough year no matter who starts at QB. NFL Odds have the Broncos at +6000 to win the Super Bowl. There’s only 4 other teams with worse odds. On the flip side though, if you bet $10 on the Broncos to win the Super Bowl and they actually do win, then you’d be sitting with $60,000 in your pocket! Time to head to Vegas.
Broncos management keeps flip flopping on their opinion of Tim Tebow. John Elway will say he needs a lot of work one week and then will say he’s got a great chance to be the starter the next week. I truly believe Tebow gives the Broncos the best chance to win. He has a young WR core and a young RB in the backfield to grow with over the years. They’ve just got to give him a chance.
You’ve got that right- just give him a chance!
How obvious is that…Tim Tebow’s future is bright b/c any team lucky enough to obtain an exceptionally talented “PRO QB” such as he is will see this; hopefully, the Bronco’s can do so!!!! GB2/TEBOW/GATORS
I Believe in Tim Tebow!
With Tim at the helm and good defense to back him up the skys the limit. I won’t bet against him!
