Vote Tebow For Madden 12 Cover

ESPN and EA Sports are having a bracket challenge for the fans to vote who gets to be on the cover of the next Madden game. Tim Tebow is an #11 seed and he is up against #6 seed Jamaal Charles – running back for the Kansas City Chiefs. Tim Tebow was already on the cover of EA’s NCAA Football last year. Wouldn’t it be somehting if he graced the cover of NCAA Football 11 and then Madden 12 the following year. No way that’s ever been done before.

Are you not aware of the “Madden Curse?” Putting Tim on the cover would be horrible. It would ruin any chance he has of having a decent season.

I don’t think Tim believes in curses. If his season is ruined, it will be because the Broncos don’t let him play. I don’t like the fact that they are working out every QB in the draft. It looks like they lack patience. I’m glad my boss isn’t twittering about me all the time!!

I think there is something going on with Elway in regard to Tebow’s popularity, college accomplishments, and his performance in his 1st 3 games. Tebow overwhelms Elway on all 3 fronts. No quarterback has ever played as well in his 1st 3 games as Tebow did, and yet Elway gives him no slack for his mistakes, or credit for playing incredibly well. He is a rookie-for goodness sake, give him a break. Quit messing around with the threat of drafting other quarterbacks. We’ve got the best, get behind him. Draft some great defensive players and lets go win a Superbowl.
I’ve been a Bronco fan for many years, but it Tebow goes-I go with him.

Tebow’s 3 game performance was all the more amazing due to the fact that the only time he was really turned loose to play was during the second half of the Houston game, which (perhaps there some correlation here) Denver won. The play calling virtually all the rest of the time was very conservative, to the point of recalling the Dan Reeve time of 3 runs and punt play calling. This made it nearly impossible for Tebow to mount any drives. When they did allow him to throw on 1st down he nearly always ended up the drive with points. For a rookie to complete 50% of his passes and account for nearly 900 yards of total production in his 1st three games is off the charts. What could he do if Elway would get behind him, and the play calling allowed him to really play? I believe that as he actually gets a year or two of playing time his production would reach his college level of the highest passer rating in SEC history, with a career rating of 176. Absolutely off the charts.

Totally agree with you, Robert…if they keep doing what they are currently engaged in then their franchise WILL STAND TO LOSE QUITE A FEW FANS and face a financial crisis brought on through these imbecilic moves by the Denver Bronco’s hierarchy!! CASE IN POINT: JACKSONVILLE IS LEARNING ITS LESSON THE HARD WAY!!! TIM TEBOW DESERVES TO BE THE STARTING QB AND HE IS CLEARLY THE RIGHT CHOICE!!!!
IT IS SEEMINGLY APPARENT THAT MANY TRUE/LOYAL FANS KNOW WITH ABSOLUTE CERTITUDE THAT TIM TEBOW ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE A WINNER NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
