Tim Tebow was defeated by Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles in ESPN’s Madden ’12 Cover contest – and it wasn’t even close. I guess our dreams of having Tim on both the cover of NCAA Football and Madden Football in consecutive years won’t come true.

Jamaal Charles – 64%

Gotta give credit to Charles, he had a beastly year running the ball. He had 1467 yards rushing on only 230 carries (for a 6.4 ypc average) with 5 touchdowns. He also caught 45 passes for another 468 yards plus 3 touchdowns.

Tim is still very young and isn’t even a full-time starter yet. He’ll have plenty of chances to grace the cover of Madden.
