Interim head coach Eric Studesville tells the Denver Post that he is not in a hurry to name a starter for Week 15. That’s a little unusual because in the past he has been very quick to let everyone know Kyle Orton is the starter. However, Orton is banged up with some bruised ribs and looks to be a game-time decision for this weekend’s game vs. Oakland.
Tim Tebow has been taking reps with the first team all week in preparation for the Raiders game. If Orton can’t go, Tebow will get the first start of his NFL career. With the Broncos struggling so bad… it makes sense for Studesville to just start Tim anyway, even if Orton is healthy enough.
The Raiders have a decent defense, giving up only 335 yards per game, including 202 in the air. But the Jaguars were able to put up 38 points last week on them with several touchdown passes by David Garrard. If Tim starts, he could have a very similar day to Garrard — tossing a touchdown or two and then running for one more.
I predict (if Tebow starts) he’ll go 17-25 for 210 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. He’ll also rush the ball 7 times for 40 yards and a touchdown.
Grab your Tebow jerseys and check the NFL broadcast map for this weekend’s game schedule. It looks like most of the country will be getting the Jets vs. Steelers game, so you might have to find a friend with DirecTV or head to a sports bar.
Is the game viewable for Belgium? ESPN america or other resources? I really want to see him play if he’s starting…
This is my favorite site for watching games online:
http://www.firstrow.net/sports/american-football.html
You click on the game you want to see & the links for that game will appear. Then click on one of those links to see if it works.
Other sites that also sometimes work are:
http://channelsurfing.net
ATDHE.net
I don’t usually use those last 2 sites, b/c the links usually require some kind of software to be used that I don’t have installed in my computer. But if you have that software (or are willing to download it), they should work for you.
Timmy is going to play! It’s so exciting to see him finally get the chance.
I can’t wait! Finally it’s TEEEBOOOOWWW TIME!
