Tim Tebow vs. San Diego Chargers – Week 11

The Denver Broncos (4-5) are in San Diego (3-6) this week for a Monday Night Football game vs. the Chargers. The Broncos have a chance to move to .500 and within striking distance of taking the division lead. The Chargers will be favored to win this game, but after what happened last weekend to Kansas City… you never know who might win the game.

Versus the Chiefs last week Tim Tebow scored two touchdowns, including one rushing and one passing. It was easily his best day as a pro. Everyone in the country will be watching the Broncos vs. Chargers on Monday Night Football. I hope Josh McDaniels lets Tim in on a dozen or more plays to show off his talent to the rest of the league.

The Chargers have a stingy defense though – giving up only 274 yards per game (185 through the air and 89 on the ground). As much as we’d all love to see Tim in there slinging the ball around on national TV, I think he’ll be limited to short yardage / goal line plays once again. He’s a huge weapon in those situations. I don’t have the stats in front of me, but I’m not sure he’s been stopped on any goal line plays this season.

I’m predicting a Chargers win in this game. I just think they’re playing good football, and they’re at home. If the Broncos lose and fall to 4-6, their best shot at making the playoffs will be to win out the remaining 6 games. Should the Broncos get eliminated from the playoffs in a few weeks, we could see a lot more of Tim Tebow.

Imagine if tebow gets a chance to play against Bradford week 12, NFL rookie showdown, ahhh if only TT was actually getting play time. I’ve always liked bradford as a solid player too, so itll be interesting to see who comes out on top if they let T play.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but Tim Tebow was named Pepsi Rookie of the Week last week. He deserved it!
