David The Broncos (3-8) fell to the St. Louis Rams yesterday afternoon 33-36. The Broncos put up 20 points in the fourth quarter but it was too late … besides, the Rams were playing soft since they had such a huge lead the entire game. The Broncos have now lost 16 of their last 21 games and are in the middle of a Spygate 2 scandal – where Coach McDaniels and his staff were fined were video taping the 49ers practices in London.
So much is going wrong for the Broncos organization. It’s time for them to make a drastic change – start Tim Tebow the rest of the season. We keep talking about how starting quarterback Kyle Orton is putting up Pro Bowl type numbers, but a lot of that is just garbage time stats. It’s possible Orton doesn’t have what it takes from a leadership standpoint to motivate this team to victory. That’s something Tim Tebow excels in.
Coach McDaniels job security is less and less after each loss. He’s responsible for drafting Tebow so he needs to suck it up and put the kid in there. Give Tim complete control of the offense for a game and see what happens. Look at what fellow rookie QBs Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy are doing in the NFL right now. There’s no reason the Broncos can’t go young at QB too. There’s no way they’d be any worse off.
I don’t have any Tebow highlights to show you, but there was a funny incident that happened in the 3rd quarter.

My goodness. I tried all season to believe that McDaniels was some mastermind and surely knew some things the rest of us didn’t–he’s a pro football coach, right? But now I, and the rest of Denver, are just done. The guy makes it worse because he won’t talk about anything so that the fans or the media can understand what the heck he’s thinking. All the local sportscasters are saying it every night- “Put Tebow in.” Tebow is a winner and commands respect–Orton just doesn’t have that spark, I don’t care how much he throws the ball. McDaniels is shooting himself in the foot if he doesn’t give Tebow more playing time–there won’t be any fans left to fill the stands. Who wants to see old milktoast Orton and the rest of the bumbling Broncos? OK, I’ll stop my rant now. I’m preaching to the choir!
You have made some good arguments, but I’m sure there are people who will disagree with some points.

Missed the game and thought the squirrel incident was quite funny! However, it appears that a lot of teams are not having a stellar year and not just the Denver Broncos!! Geez, look at the Florida Gators losing to the “Criminoles”
…UGH!! Wouldn’t have happened w/TEBOW!! Hope the Gators/Broncos regroup and come back like the capable team they are and have been!! Takes more than a couple of years to rebuild a team for all the impatient fans out there!!

Now is NOT the time to put Tim in charge. Why give him a losing team this year. Just be patient, and put him in charge next year with a new coach.
The idea of a new coach concerns me. A lot of people do not think Tebow can be an NFL QB. The wrong person at Denver can cause Tebow not to be given a chance to develop. This mess really concerns me for Tebow. We all thought Tebow had gone to a team that was committed to developing him and a coach who was creative and innovative and would bring him along in his career. Now I don’t know about McDaniel and a new coach is even more troubling. But, God Bless Timmy and give him the future He wants him to have. I would not mind if he got traded closer to Florida. Then we could all see him play more often.

I completely agree with Tisa. Josh McD was the one who traded up to get Timmy in the 1st place. If a new coach is in the picture, they might be one of the people that didn’t believe that Tebow could start as QB in the NFL. That would be a major problem for Timmy and us fans! Even though I admit that I don’t think McD has made wise decisions this season. I don’t know if a new coach would help Tim. Everything will work out in God’s will for Timmy, and that is the only will that matters! Ugh, this whole mess is stressing me out!
