Tim Tebow vs. San Francisco 49ers – Week 8

The Denver Broncos (2-5) are away this week in London, England to play the San Francisco 49ers (1-6) in the NFL’s annual game at Wembley Stadium. The game will be played at 1:00 PM EST (what is that like 7:00 PM in London) and will air on CBS nationally, unless you have a local team in your market playing. This will be the first time Tim has played the 49ers because they are not divisional opponents. The 49ers stink (though they have lost a few close games), so expect the Broncos to win this game in front of the London crowd.

Tim did play last week, but didn’t have the opportunities he had against the Jets. Part of me thinks McDaniels will have a package for Tim Tebow this week because the game will get so much coverage and the 49ers defense isn’t that great. But another part of me thinks that McDaniels won’t run Tim out there just for the heck of it. It will have to be a strategic play that will result in positive yards.

The 49ers are giving up 321.9 yards per game – 106.1 of those on the ground. They are also giving up 23.1 points per game, while the Broncos are giving up 28.4 points per game. That means we could be looking at a very high scoring game. San Francisco is favored to win the game by -1 and Vegas has the over/under at 41.5. I definitely like the Broncos +1 and the over. We could see 50 points scored as long as the weather holds up.

Tim Tebow is doing Jockey ads. I saw this billboard in Gainesville the other day, and found a picture of it online at “Gatro Bytes Blog”
