Please tweet @NFLCOMMISH and let him know that we won’t allow this game to be one of blood and injury. Many of the players do work off the field to help the community. Please let the commish know that we want them, Tim, be able to do so.
“we won’t allow this game to be one of blood and injury”
I appreciate what you’re trying to do, Amber, but contact sports are called contact sports for a reason. There’s going to be blood & injury in all contact sports, esp football (and few players have been better at playing tough, but clean, than Tebow). What there shouldn’t be is permanent disability-especially brain damage & spinal cord injuries-from contact sports. The helmet-to-helmet suspension rule seems to be a good step in the right direction at this time.
I was so proud of Tebow’s touchdown! I texted all my skeptical Denver friends and said “See! He is the real deal!” They had to agree this time! And it kind of took the sting out of watching the Gators lose…AGAIN. To Miss. State. On homecoming weekend. Sigh.
WAY TO GO TEBOW AND DEFINITELY KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!!! WISH YOU COULD HELP THE GATORS TOO! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND HOPE COACH MCDANIELS REALIZES WHAT A PRO YOU ALREADY ARE!! STAY SAFE; PRAY YOU ALWAYS OVERCOME ANY/ALL OBSTACLES!! CONGRATS ON YOUR FIRST PRO NFL TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!
GB2/TEBOW/GATORS!!
Tim, I am praying for you and wish you the very best. I have a 7 foot Gator Christmas tree with cut-outs of you and other gators, now I will add your Bronco picture to this tree. I proudly sport your Rookie Jersey. God Bless. Annie Shiflet
