Tim Tebow returned to Broncos practice yesterday — I guess I shouldn’t have timestamped my post yesterday for the late afternoon. Tim was suited up and on the field for yesterday’s practice – though still recovering from his bruised ribs. Tim went through warm ups and stretches, then made some easy throws. The coaches are easing him back into practice and didn’t allow him to participate in all the throwing drills.
it’s encouraging to see Tim back on the practice field … whether or not he plays this Sunday night is still unclear, though I wouldn’t count on it. if he plays it may just be one or two series at the end of the fourth quarter.
Thanks David… it is encouraging to read that Tim was back at practice Wed. and is throwing some again. I’m pleased to hear that he is being given time to develope as a QB in the NFL and not being pushed. We wish the Broncos all the best in Sunday’s game with the Steelers.
@Vera: Because you’ve asked in the past about availability of the Broncos pre-season games in your area, I thought you’d want to know that this week’s game against the Steelers is supposedly being shown nationwide on Fox network.
I saw the run that Tebow made in his debut. I cringed when I saw how hard that he was hit. I was worried that he might have been injured and sure enough, I was right. I was disappointed that he didn’t play against detroit, so I hope that he will able to be back on the field when the Broncos play Pittsburgh since he was participating in practice. I have been a Tebow fan since he was in college and I hope that he will develop into a great quarterback whether a is with Denver or somewhere else.
Through all of these press releases and fan and media comments, I think people are overlooking one of the most important of Tim’s “intangibles” which translate to success for any team he’s ever been with. I think one of the most important things that Tim brings to a team doesn’t really have anything to do with the physical side of football. Whether he was in high school or college and now in the NFL, Tim’s work ethic and presence causes the players around him to elevate their level of play and that will definitely breed more success for the Broncos.
I really want to see him play this Sunday but if he is not ready, it’s okay, I can wait…God willing, he will have a full recovery and be back to action soon…in God’s perfect timing!!!
