Tebow Debate: Will He Play Too Soon?

Charissa Thompson of Yahoo Sports had on guests to chat about Tim Tebow and whether or not he is prepared for the NFL. NFL writer Jason Cole and national columnist Les Carpenter debated whether or not Tebow should have a role in 2010 similar to what he did as a freshman for the Florida Gators. Cole said he hopes Tebow doesn’t play at all for 2 years while Carpenter thinks Tim is ready now for NFL action.

Check out the entire debate here:

What do you think? Should Tim Tebow sit out a few years before getting playing time (or starting) in the NFL?

  1. Brooke says:

Tim left practice shortly after it started today w/the head trainer going w/him. He might be injured.

Alot of people are thinking its the aftermath of that nasty collision in the end zone when he rushed for a TD! I hope everything turns out ok!!! Geez..I’m worried now!

  3. Richard says:

Oh Boo Hoo. Tebow.. another reason to hate the Broncos post- John ‘I don’t wanna play in Baltimore’ Elway. I hope his career is as short as possible so he can go back to his Bible-thumping bare-footed ways in the privacy of his own home.

  4. Derrick says:

Tim is/was a great “player” in Florida, but with his need for QB strengthening in the NFL and then going to a team like the Broncos, he’s doomed himself.
