Denver Broncos 1st round draft pick Tim Tebow was in Englewood, Colo. over the weekend for a rookie mini camp. This is the first time Tebow was out on an NFL practice field wearing a Broncos jersey and helmet. Tim, along with the other Broncos rookies, were working outing, running drills, and just getting acclimated to playing in the NFL. They had meetings, went over the playbook and met with all the assistant coaches. It’s a huge learning experience and just as mall step in what is to come in Tim’s rookie year.
Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post said: “I watched Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow work in practice on Friday in Denver, and he appeared very confident. His delivery is more compact, and his knowledge of the offense is impressive. Now, if the Broncos can get his lower body in rhythm, he’ll be ready to compete at the highest level.”
Broncos head coach a great things to say about Tim’s first mini camp. “He’s what we thought he was,” McDaniels said Saturday. “First of all, he’s a rookie. He’s made his share of mistakes out here. But his work ethic is what we thought it was.”
And on whether or not Tim will function as a pocket passer or be more of a wildcat QB, McDaniels said “He will function from the pocket. If he can do something out of the pocket, and he deserves to be on the field, that’s the biggest thing, then maybe that would warrant us doing other things. But he’s going to get trained the exact same way the other guys are going to get trained.”
ESPN caught up with Tim and asked him a few questions. Check it out:
And I told you we’d try to post some pictures of his workouts, but not many have popped up yet (I think the Broncos mini camp was closed to the public). If you have any pics, please send them to us.

All in all, Tim had a very good first mini camp. Tim had a chance to get his feet wet and the coaches were very impressed with what they saw.
I’ve seen many pics and interviews and he was awesome! As usual…. HA!
he seems to be having a blast which is just absolutely awesome, as i repeat. the only thing you can do is be pleased for him. hopefully he’ll be starting soon.. for our sake. i wonder what his bodyfat percentage.. wow.. look at those legs..
I live north of Denver and work south of Denver, right behind the
Broncos complex. A prayer request for Tim – that he can quietly influence
Josh McDaniels’ foul mouth and disrespectful treatment of the
players. I was really excited to see that Tim was here. I actually bought
one of his jersey’s to show my support. He is number 15.
BTW a few logistic corrections. Broncos complex is in Dove Valley, which is
a neighborhood located in Centennial, Co. They always get it wrong
on the TV (a zip issue.)
I will keep an eye out for Tim. He’s definitely one QB I would
like to meet. We need someone with his strong faith and leadership on the
team. Not to mention his skills.
Blessings to all.
hellO world,have a nice day!great happy!
