David Tim Tebow has been working hard in Indianapolis the past few days at the NFL Combine. Remember, he isn’t throwing for scouts – he’s waiting until the Florida Pro Day to unveil his new throwing motion. But, Tim was out there running the 40, doing vertical leaps and long jumps. Tebow unofficially ran the 40-yard dash at the scouting combine in 4.7 and 4.72 seconds, good times for a quarterback. His official 40 times will be revealed later, but the 4.7-second figure was his clocked time on NFL Network’s exclusive coverage of the combine workouts. Tebow also posted a vertical leap of 38.5 inches, tying Josh McCown for the best ever by a quarterback.
