Tim Tebow at the Autograph Signing

Tim Tebow was in Jacksonville on Saturday for his first official autograph signing. The event was set up by Palm BEach Autographs in The Avenues Mall. I was not there but it was a great event and extremely crowded. Tim’s hometown is Jacksonville and you can be sure the crowd gave him a hometown welcome. Remember, it cost people $150 to get an autograph and $75 for a picture with Tim – all the proceeds went to the Tim Tebow Foundation. PBA is selling autographed helmets and football on their site for over $200 – so if you spent the $150 to get Tim’s autograph then you likely turned a profit … not that anyone there was getting merchandise signed to sell. I’m sure 99% of the patrons want to keep his autograph.

Here are a couple of pictures from the event I found on Flickr by Narcosis27.

I went to the autograph signing. Although I didnt buy a ticket for the autograph but I did to get your picture taken with him. I got there at 12 and did not leave till about six. And the line was still really really long. Tim was so nice and seemed to be enjoying every second of it. It was so much fun. Thanks Tim for picking your hometown to do your first public autograph signing and pictures. It was awesome and could not have been any better. Made some new friends also waiting in line. And Thank yall for posting on here that he was going to be in Jacksonville.
