NFL Teams Tim Tebow Makes Sense For

Now that free agency is underway in the NFL and we’ve seen a lot of quarterbacks more around, we have a better idea of what teams may be a good fit for Tim Tebow. No one can ever predict the draft to perfection, in fact the NFL “experts” like McShay only get somewhere around 20% of their first round picks right. You never know when a team like New England could pick a quarterback even when they don’t need one. So let’s take a more definied look at some of the teams in need of a quarterback.

Cleveland Browns
The Browns just traded Brady Quinn and signed Jake Delhomme. In addition to Delhomme, the Browns also have Senaca Wallace at the QB position. Can you really go into the season with those two guys?

Buffalo Bills
The Bills have not had a great QB since Jim Kelly left. Ryan Fitzpatrick may be a genius, but he sucks on the football field. They need a new QB as bad as anyone and TIm would be a good fit in their offensive system.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Surprised to see this one? Ben Roethlisberger has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The Steelers might feel compelled to pickup a good image QB and someone they can use if Ben faces league suspension.

Oakland Raiders
No explanation needed for this one.

Carolina Panthers
The Panthers are going to put all their money in on Matt Moore. He’s looked good in limited time, but they will need a new backup QB and someone to step in if Matt can’t get it done.

In addition to those teams listed, there are several more that new a quarterback on the roster, even at a backup role or a position where the team can coach Tim up for 3 years then insert him into the starting role. With the Pro Day coming up in a few days, we’ll get a better idea of where Tim might be drafted and what teams are interested.

The only one I agree with is Oakland. Only because they are a complete disaster and can use anyone. Cleveland makes no sense because both Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace at their worst are better than Tebow in a pro style offense.
