The Florida Gators handled the Cincinnati Bearcats 51-24 in the 2010 Sugar Bowl tonight. Tim Tebow played his final game as a Florida Gator and man did he go out with a bang. Tim played as close to a perfect game as I’ve ever seen him. Tim had 533 total yards (482 passing and 51 rushing) – breaking Vince Young’s record of total yards in a BCS game. Tebow also accounted for 3 touchdowns in the air and 1 on the ground.
Tebow was 31/35 passing and connected with 6 different receivers. Riley Cooper led the way with 181 yards receiving and Aaron Hernandez led the team in receptions. Tim threw touchdowns to Cooper, Hernandez and Thompson.
It’s hard to imagine Tim Tebow going out in any other way. We saw him throw the ball like a Heisman winner should. We saw him run the ball like a freaking maniac – I saw him lower the shoulder a few times. And he protected the ball, made wise decisions and was a leader on and off the field. I love the way Tim motivates the players. They showed him head butt David Nelson with their helmets on and Nelson got knocked back 5 feet. It was great.
It will be sad seeing Tim go – but also exciting as he ventures on to the next level. For now let’s enjoy this Sugar Bowl victory.

We want Tim Tebo in Miami! The NFL will not be a problem for him. He will be an asset to any team that gets him.
It was a great game for the Gators and the best for Tim Tebow. We will miss you Tim, but look forward to wherever you go.
Go Gators!
Thanks for the memories.
God Bless!
You’re the best there ever was, Tim. There is not a current quarterback in the NFL that has as much talent as you have. You will have a deservedly successful future. God Bless You.
Great game. Really a nail biting all the way
