David We already know about the Super Bowl commercial Tim will be making – what’s next? A lot of people are speculating that we could see Tim Tebow on the cover of EA Sport’s NCAA Football 2011. Last year EA put different players on the different covers for each console – I think the XBox 360 version is the premier cover. In 2010 it featured Michael Crabtree.
CNBC’s Darren Rovell was on the Dan Patrick Show this morning to talk about how Florida quarterback Tim Tebow is already extremely valuable from a marketing perspective even though we don’t know what kind of pro he’ll be. “He is the most marketable guy we’ve ever seen coming out of college,” Rovell said.
I would be absolutely shocked if Tim was not on the game cover for any of the consoles. His name is more recognizable than any college player in history and his image is perfect for selling.

I think it would be a great idea to see Tim Tebow on the cover of NCAA 2011. I can’t think of anyone who could be more deserving of the honor but i guess you could make a case for Dez Bryant of Oklahoma State or Sam Bradford of Oklahoma because they were both great players but Tim Tebow won’t be forgotten in the world of college football. The legacy he leaves behind is unmatched by anyone

I think they should split the covers up by platform, one for xbox, ps3, psp, as a husker fan i’d love to see suh on a cover hopefully for the xbox

It would have been a great idea last year, but since Timmy was totally owned by Bama this year(not to mention that he’s graduated) I think Mark Ingram would be a more appropriate choice (Heisman, National Championship,etc.). I would love to see a “Make Tebow Cry” achievement for the 360 though.
The cover CANNOT feature a current NCAA player!!! Tim Teblow will be on the cover of at least one of the games. Last year they separated the athletes by region. I would expect them to continue that trend this year. Look for Clausen, Teblow, Suh/Bradford/McCoy (this region is a toss up) to be on the different covers based on your region. So my game will unfortunately feature Tim Teblow.

alright number one tebow is a good player and well recognized but you can not sit and say he is a dynamic player cuz if so florida would be at the top? Look at chris leak for example wheres he at now… No where? They should have the Top 25 draft picks from the previous season on the new cover. In this years case in my opinion there were alot of great Atheletes that could have been on the cover, so why not pick a handfull and put them on the covers? While the media may have made me hate Tim Tebow his play on the field was unreal, so he does deserve to be 1 of the covermen but Suh, McCoy, Spiller, Bradford, Bryant… (my list could go on) deserve to be there as well! one last thing CJ SPILLER SHOULD HAVE WON THE HEISMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also to all you guys who keep saying Ingram should be on the cover…. to be on the cover you have to have graduated or gone pro, A player who is still enrolled cannot recieve any money for endorsments or he becomes ineligible to play for that school, so unless you BAMA fans do not want Ingram to return this fall then get over the fact that TEBOW is on the cover!!!

Every one of you saying Ingram should be on the cover are absolutely retarted. You have to be a graduate in order to have your face posted on a cover. This is because once you graduate you are no longer offically liscensed by the NCAA and only then can your face be sold. Why do you think they don’t put freshmen, sophmores, and juniors on NCAA liscensed calenders? Therefore, Tim Tebow belongs on the cover, he is the most prestigous college athelete to play any collegiate sport. So what if he’s all people talk about? I don’t understand how someone could say he is overrated. Look at all the records he has broken! He broke the SEC rushing record, and can someone please tell me what position he plays?
