Tim Tebow Support From The Fans

As promised, here are a few more fan letters to Tim Tebow we received. I will continue to go through all of them in my inbox, but might not have the time to post them all on the site. I’m surprised at the number of letters we receive from young kids, ages 8-12. It’s really cool knowing Tim can reach out to them. Anyway, enjoy –

Tim,
I want to take a second to let you know that many UA fans had a really hard time last night. While we do love our Tide, some of us see that God has had his hand on you. I know that the emotion of the game can be overwhelming at times but no one knows better than you that the field that is white unto harvest is where the real priority lies. I wish there were more heroes in cut from your stock. I hope you continued success in your athletic career, however I believe that you have the success wrapped up on the real (mission) field. Hope to see you out there!
In Christ,
Chris B.

Tim Tebow,
When I first started watching the SECCG championship game, I really didn’t have a preference for either team. When you threw that safety in the game, I can’t imagine how disappointing that must have been. I know that the outcome of the game was probably not your will, but know that god has a plan much greater than yours. I envy your great faith and determination and that is why you are such an inspiration and role model to me.

I went from going to not having a preference to crying the same tears that you cried at the end of the game. You are also such a gracious person and even when you were pretty disappointed that you lost, you STILL congratulated Alabama! What a great example of a man after God’s heart. You have had a great career at Florida and have really inspired me to go there myself one day. You will leave a great legacy in the years to come and I know that you will be remembered by your great character. Thanks for showing me to still have faith even when it is hardest. God bless you!
Your newest fan,
Annie B, 12 years old

I just want you to know that I’m tired of people making smart comments about u crying after the game because if anybody plays a sport and LOVES it and knows that feeling of loosing would cry too. I’m a competitive cheerleader & i know that feeling! i mean it was your last gator game!!! and i think you played awesome. And even tho we didn’t win I’m still a huge fan. & where ever else you play I’ll still be cheering you u on :)

I was never more proud of Tim Tebow then when he gave his gracious post-game talk with the CBS sports commentator on the field. First, he spoke with her when most losing quarterbacks would’ve run off the field, then, he congratulated Alabama on their victory. No whining, no blaming anybody…what a class act! Tim is a true champion and a real hero on all levels!
    God Bless.

  2. Simone says:

    Tim (and all Gator players),

I may be a huge Crimson Tide fan but felt your pain at the end of the game. I always hurt for the losing team in any game because the majority of ball players are playing for love of the game. It’s unfortunate when fans and media try to make a loss worse than it should be. Tim, you are an outstanding athlete and the Florida Gators are an outstanding team. Hold your head up proud. I know great things come to those who work hard and are true to their faith. You are an inspiration to many young men, including my teenage son.
    God Bless,
    Simone

  3. Sheri says:

    Dear Tim,

We are still proud of all you have done for UF. We will always be proud of our Gators. I live in Alabama, and I hate how a lot of the fans have been disrespectful to me. That’s okay though, I can take it. I know that you told us that whatever happens, God is in control. I believe you meant that and I do too. Just know we are still supporting you and the other Gators. See you in New Orleans on January 1. Much love!!

Tim, I watched the SEC Championship game from start to finish, I watch all of the Gators games and Alabama as well. You sir, are a class act yourself, great athlete, great Christian and believer, a great leader for your teammates and I am sure all that follow you.
I would love to see you play more, but I know you have special plans for your future and I know that they are important to you, your family and everyone involved.
I felt your pain, but you and the gators are winners anywhere and anyone you play! We will be watching and pulling for yall in the Sugarbowl!!!!
    God Bless you Tim,
    Randy Nevers, Gulf Shores, AL.

    Tim-
No matter what anyone says, the tears you shed were proof of your passion for the game and how much you wanted to win. I hope you don’t fault yourself because of the outcome. Instead, look back at what you and your teammates were able to accomplish throughout your college careers. Most of all, realize how much respect many of us have for you, especially in how classy you acted on Sunday, a cornerstone of your personality. Best of luck in the Sugar Bowl and may God bless you in whatever you choose to do in the future!

Tim – You are an inspiration to anyone that has ever had a true passion. My daughter turns “17″ on Thursday and is going to Orlando to the Maxwell Awards in hopes of meeting you. You really are her hero!!! All she wants for her birthday is a hug from you!!!! Can you help me out? Where ever God takes you I have no doubt you will be a success. Merry Christmas

  7. Doug Brock says:

Tim, you are certainly the best college football player to ever play the game. You probably won’t win this year’s Heisman Trophy ( even though your career stats easily outshine any of the other contenders ), because you offer such a shining example of how ALL people should conduct their affairs. Many of this country’s low-lifes absolutely detest you, because in their heart they know they should act in the same Christian spirit that you routinely display. They are ecstatic that you guys lost to Alabama, and will focus on that one game from now on ( forgetting that you guys whipped Alabama last year ). The decent folks in this nation will always admire you, not just for your amazing athletic skills, but because you are a good Christian. If this country was populated only with Tim Tebow clones, we could close all the jails.
I wish you the very best in the future.

    Tim,
Wow! WHere to begin? Well for starters I think you are the best football player to ever play the game! You are such an inspiration to me, and I hope to see you succeed in everything that you do. Like you, I wanted to see aanother stunning season, but I can honestly say that I think God has bigger and better things in store for you. Also, like you, I cried with you at the end of the SEC championship. I became a huge fan at the beginning of this season and I am now sorry that I wasnt one before then. One of the many things I love about you is that you are still a man of God in all that you do. You havent let fame go to your head and that should be an inspiration to other football players as well. I admire you for always putting God first, and because of that, you have become my role model. I just wanted to thank you for that and wish you the very best of luck at the Sugar Bowl! Tell all those other outstanding gators hey!

    Your #1 fan,
    Abby

  9. The Only Guy with a Brain says:

I’ve never stooped so low as to comment on these ridiculous “blogs”, yet my utter hatred for Tim Te-blow and his supporting cast has driven me to set a few things straight. I agree that there are certain situations in which a man should not be ridiculed for shedding a few tears, but there are certain situations that make the act laughable. Mr. Te-blows has accomplished nothing worth mentioning in his life aside from becoming the most over-hyped, pathetic, excuse for a quarterback to come through the University of Florida in a very long time. Anyone that truly believes that little Timmy will ever do anything in his life (aside from bible thumping and handling the penis’ of third-world children) knows nothing about the game of football. For all of you religious fanatics that find peace of mind in being duped by the idiocy Tim Tebow plasters across his face every week, I merely suggest reading a book other than the Bible. (I will spare the religious rant, but let me just say that those who still think the bible is truly the word of God are a perfect fit for the ignorant flock that believes in little Timmy himself.) People that buy into Timmy’s hype are the sole reason that he has rocketed to college football fame while some of the greatest players in recent college football history are the ones responsible for a majority of his success. As a college football fan at heart, it truly saddens me to see the media glorify this joke-of-a-quarterback while other notable athletes disappear into obscurity. The main point of my rant is this: Little Timmy has nothing to cry about because he has done nothing worth arousing any real emotion. This illusion of him being the most selfless athlete in history with a heart that is 3 sizes too large is nothing more than another case of religious fanatics glorifying what they consider to be the standard for “class” when it comes to athletics. Tim Tebow is worthless in the eyes of any NFL recruiter and I will cherish the day that I am proven right. If you are skeptical of what I am saying, please note that he has declined in almost every statistic as a quarterback every year since the University got together and bought him that Heisman that should have went to McFadden in 2007. He should stop spewing religious garbage every time a camera is pointed in his direction and try and hold back his tears over a football game that HE is responsible for losing. Oh, and if you are still a Tim Tebow fan, I personally hate you with all my heart. Thanks and have a pleasant day.

  10. Caroline says:

HAHAHAHAHA @the only guy with a brain. You’re pathetic.

Anyways, Tim said that Alabama was classy, I guess he committed his first sin on Saturday. Lying.

  11. Tebow Fan says:

To “The Only Guy without a Brain.” You must be an Alabama fan. They are the only fans that won an SEC and can still be so angry. What are you so angry about. Why does it matter to you? You need help with your anger issues.

  12. J.Sal says:

    Dear Tim,
your the greatest role model anyone can look up to. you are the reason i work hard and train hard. God has blessed me to watch you play. you are the greatest gator to ever play the game of football. you can overcome the loss to bama, make a statement as you go out of the college game.

  14. Anna says:

Tim- When some people say that “Tim Tebow is terrible”, I automatically think, “Wow, if that kind of success is terrible, then terrible is what I would love to be!” On the Monday after the SEC championship game, I wore a self-designed T shirt bearing the words “Tebow Still Rules!” with the Gators emblem. I got attacked. But I don’t care! Still a fan.

  15. Anna says:

@The Only Guy with a Brain. Go to the Mark Ingram fan club or something. This is the Tebow site! Dude!

    Tebow
I hope to see you at the Senior Bowl, not that you have to show them anymore how amazing you are. But I wanted to say with or without the Hiesman, your still an amazing Man of God and an AMAZING football player:) – Courtney [One of your biggest fans alive.]

  18. Kristie says:

    Dear Tim Tebow,
First of all I want to say how great of a football player you are! Anyone as great as you should be so proud of themselves. I’m not a gators fan, but I am a big fan of you! I think you are a great role model! Everything you do you have so much passion for it. Your faith in God is also incredible! You go on missionaries and preach to many peole and that is so cool. I also think it’s awesome how you put bible verses on you eye black. Good luck in the Sugar Bowl! God bless you and your family and remember with God anything is possible!

  19. RW says:

Tim, God is working through you and your family in amazing ways. I pray for Christ to give you the strength to keep up the great work. If the networks succumb to media pressure and prevent your pro-life ad from running on SuperBowl Sunday, I hope it becomes a rally-cry for Christians across the world. It’s time for us to rise-up. We can find other ways to get the message out and create an all-out media blitz!

    Blessings,
    RW

  20. JM says:

My hat is off to Mr. Tebow for his part in the upcoming Superbowl ad in support of life.

  21. Malachi Hooper says:

    Dear Tim Tebow,
I love the gators and i think you are the greatest role model in the world right now. I hope to see you excell in the NFL dude. If you do become succesfull remeber, god gave you the gift and he can take it away just as easy. I should know, I’m 14 and had cancer when I was 7. God let my family get over it with me. In fact an entire church offering was donated to me.

To the only guy with no brain, I love god, but it’s people like you who make me want to do stuff that god would look down on. Tim Tebow is a way better man in one figernail than you in your whole body. I really hope you read this and all the other messages for tim and feel like an @$$.

To the world, tim tebow deserves all the credit in the world for what he does with his life.

    you are an Atheist.
thanks, and go burn in hell

  24. Richard A. Watson, M..D. says:

Please pray for Tim Tebow and his family. The strength and courage that this young man has shown on the football field pales compared to that required of him in standing up proudly and fearlessly, expressing his deep faith and his commitment to living out his strongly held moral and religious convictions. So many false role-models today are showcasing to our youth their lives of promiscuity, drugs, alcohol, violence, and self-infatuation. A man like Tim Tebow deserves the greatest praise and admiration. And yet, sadly, so many are determined to silence him and mock his values. Pray that he will remain steadfast and undefeated on the field and in life. Satan is betting on a fumble.

Hang in there, Tim Tebow! Don’t let him blind-side you!

  25. Cathy K says:

He deserves nothing but positives for all his bravery on and off the field!! That being said, has been in my prayers almost daily for his protection too! All the so called naysayers will certainly be silenced at some point b/c he is more than capable of maintaining the due diligence required to accomplish whatever he sets his mind to with God’s help!! No matter what he pursues he will always come out a winner in spite of the inaccuracies stated which continue to be a lot of hot air directed from individuals who more than not have been incapable of accomplishing anything worthwhile in their own less than lives; and it is quite obvious that these mostly insignificant small fringe groups are, for the most part, the loudest/unqualified critics who fit this description!! HIS FANS FAR OUTWEIGH HIS CRITICS…HE IS VERY GIFTED AND THE TEAM WHO IS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO RECRUIT HIM WILL BE VERY GLAD THEY DRAFTED HIM IN THE FIRST ROUND BEFORE THE OTHER TEAMS WERE ABLE TO DO SO…ENOUGH SAID!!!

Wish all the best for Tim Tebow and it is nothing short of amazing as to how he has handled all the pressure, both positive and negative…he will always have one of THE MOST LOYAL AS WELL AS HUGE/PROUD fan base whereever he goes!! GO GATORS…GO TEBOW!! :) ck

  26. Judy Longworth says:

    Tim,
You are such an inspiration to all. I watched you through out your entire 4 years as a GATOR and what an outstanding quaterback you are you will go far in life. I like the bible message that you wore on your face. You are the real thing and not fake. I wish you so much happiness and success in your career as I know you want dissappoint. Any mother would be happy and proud to have you as a son or son-in-law. You are every mother’s dream and God bless your mother for having you.
