The Florida Gators are back in The Swamp for their third non-conference game of the season. Tim Tebow will lead the Gators against the FIU Panthers – this is also the first time FIU and UF have ever played. The game is at 12:30 p.m. EST and is aired on PPV, so if you’re not going to the game you’ll either have to purchase it or find a sports bar in town.
The Gators are currently 10-0 on the season and have won 20 games in a row dating back to last year’s Ole Miss loss in midseason. No player in college football has been under as much pressure to win as Tim Tebow has been this year. I don’t know how he can do it. How he can run out there on the field every week and play the way he does knowing that if he fails it would be like the end of the world for Gator fans. I guess that’s why they call him Superman.
Tebow and the Gators shouldn’t have any problems against the FIU Panthers tomorrow afternoon. It’s pretty much like a glorified exhibition game. I would be shocked if Tim even plays 3 full quarters. He’ll hopefully come in, do his thing and leave healthy – preparing himself for FSU next week. I predict Tim Tebow will be 14-20 for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns, plus 30 rushing yards and a touchdown. What do you think?
