The No. 1 Florida Gators will host the unranked Arkansas Razorbacks Saturday afternoon for the annual Gator homecoming game. Arkansas is a good team with a good coach. They’re coming to G-ville on a 2-game win streak having recently beat Texas A&M and an undefeated Auburn team. Arkansas is no joke, and Tim Tebow will have to play better if the Gators want to win.

Well, that would only be true if the Gators relied on Tim to win them every game. It seems like this year the defense is carrying them. Nonetheless, Tim needs to play better and I think he will now that he is three weeks removed from his concussion. Urban Meyer will want to get this offense back on track to where they were before the 3rd quarter of the UK game.

“I tried to play smart,” Tebow said. “I told him, I said, when we were talking to Coach (Urban) Meyer, I said, ‘I’m not going to go out there and play tentative or scared. That’s not me I did try to play smart but I wasn’t scared or timid at all.”

Tim needs to play smart tomorrow, but he also needs to open it up. Right now, this Gator offense isn’t scaring anyone… especially not Alabama. It’s time to light up the scoreboard and win homecoming in Gator fashion. I predict Tim Tebow will top 300 yards passing for the first time in 2009 and he’ll throw for 3 touchdowns.
