Tebow Scores 5 Touchdowns in Win

The Florida Gators were only winning 7-3 at the end of the first quarter. The weather was rainy and the field got sloppy. But that didn’t stop Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators from coming alive in the second quarter. Something sparked the Gators and they lit up the scoreboard for 28 points in the 2nd quarter and 14 more in the third, for a final score of 56-6.

Tim Tebow was 15-26 passing for 237 yards plus 4 touchdowns and he carried the ball 13 times for 71 yards plus a touchdown. Those of you who voted 5+ touchdowns in last week’s poll are the big winners! Tim has now thrown at least one touchdown pass in 30 straight games, which is the best streak in the country. Tebow played a great game and put up amazing stats despite only playing 3 quarters of football.

It was nice to see Deonte Thompson involved in the game. He only had 2 receptions for 39 yards, but both catches were for touchdowns. Once again, Riley Cooper was Tim’s favorite target of the day. The two connected 5 times for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Up next week: the Tennessee Volunteers

Sadly, I wasn’t there, but I did catch it on tv. I kept coming back to it and almost every time I checked the score they had scored again!!
