David The University of Florida Gators held their annual Fan Day on Saturday, August 15. Tim Tebow, along with all the Gator football players, were there to sign autographs. I heard from some family who went down to Gainesville for the event that it was a mad house… and the line for Tim Tebow’s autograph started very early and was very long.
The Gainesville Sun has a good recap of the event.
UF changed things this year to prevent professional autograph sellers from taking over. They limited lines when they got too long and they only allowed players to sign official school posters. No jerseys or footballs (which are hot items on eBay).
I’m looking for pictures and stories from people who went to the event. If you have any, please send them to [email protected] and I’d love to post them here for the Tebow fans to see.

um theres a typo at the top of this it says “Fan Gay” instead of “Fan Day” it be really nice if youd fix it….
ummm…you might want to check the title on your post…dhouldn’t it be “Day”?
Don’t think it’s a typo…the man is gay, so let’s all just leave him alone and let him play football and circumcise little boys Michael Jackson style.
Tim tebow is not gay. You tebow haters need to keep your rude coments to your self. He is a good christian boy and people just need to back off
