Florida quarterback Tim Tebow scored on a pair of three-yard touchdown runs in the first half on Saturday at The Swamp to push his career total of rushing touchdowns to 36.
You know what that means? He is now tied with Emmitt Freakin’ Smith for first place in Gator history for rushing touchdowns. I bet Smith never thought his record would be broken, at least not by a quarterback. And now, if Tebow can keep things going this week against UGA, he should break the record against his arch enemy.
It’s conceivable for Tim Tebow to break the 40 rushing touchdowns mark this season, and if he comes back for his senior year he could very well break 50. I wonder what the record is for most career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback?
what a great achievement tebow has accomplished. passing all time great emmit smiths record. absolutely amazing.
