Tim Tebow loses Ingram

Tim Tebow lost one of his best targets for the season in Cornelius Ingram late last week. Ingram was a big-time tight end for the Florida Gators and was poised to have a monster season.

“A lot of guys were disappointed when they heard,” quarterback Tim Tebow said. “A lot of the guys went over to his house last night trying to encourage him and let him know everything is going to be OK. He’s got a good perspective about it. It’s tough, it’s a game he loves to play. It was going to be a big year for him and he’s not going to be able to experience it. It’s a little bit of a letdown for everybody.”

Last year, Ingram had 34 receptions for 508 yards and 7 touchdowns.

  1. Mrs.Tebow says:

CI was a very important part to the Gator offense and it sucks that he can’t play. He turned down NFL millions to play in Gainesville and now he won’t get to. He could always apply for an extra year of eligibility… But, I don’t think he’ll do that. He turned the NFL down once and I’m pretty sure he won’t do it again.
