Per GatorCountry.com, “more than $6000 and awareness was raised for six charities in the inaugural Gator Charity Challenge on Friday night at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in front of approximately 1,800 people. The fundraiser featured the 2008 Gators challenging each other in a series of strength competitions.”
Gator QB Tim Tebow participated in this event. In the picture below you can see him tossing a 30 lb medicine ball for one of the challenges. Unofficial reports have Tim Tebow being the winner of all the Stong Man Challenges. Just look at those guns!
Unofficial? Not doubting that he probably won anyway, but I like to hear it from the horse’s mouth.
I love Tim too but…
The Susan J. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, led by team captain and offensive lineman Jason Watkins (Lakeland, Fla.), outworked the competition and won the inaugural Gator Charity Challenge with a total score of 27 points.
well considering he benches more than most linemen in college football he more than likely destroyed all the other competitors. Holy cow.
