I just received the first “Tebow Sighting” email the other day. This comes from a UF student who happened to see Tim Tebow at Gator Corner. For those of you who are not students or alumni, Gator Corner is one of the dining halls on Campus located right by the stadium. Here’s the email:

#15 is a regular at Gator Corner Dining. I saw him eating over there twice – in
the same day. The first time, he spent a lot of time in that private dining room
that the athletes get to themselves. I saw him talking with someone else, but I
don’t know. The last thing I wanted to be was a snoop.

He was acknowledging all of the maintenance people there – what a gent.

The second time, he was out in the common area a bit more. No one struck the
Heisman pose anymore; I wonder why.

I didn’t even talk with him, deliberately. The poor guy needs a break from the
public eye.

I remember eating in there as well, and always seeing athletes go into the private dining area in the back. They also get their own special tray of food. Like real food. While the students are stuck eating the hamburgers and corndogs they always have.

If you happen to see Tebow on campus, please don’t bother him. He is an amazing guy and will talk to you if approached, but he’s also very busy so be respectful at all times.
