Pajo According to ESPN Peyton Manning will become the next quarterback of the Denver Broncos, barring a snag during intensified contract negotiations that have commenced under the instruction of the four-time MVP to his agent Tom Condon, according to multiple sources.
While Manning soon will arrive in Denver, Tebow could well depart. According to sources, Denver will try to trade Tebow — who led the team to an 8-8 finish, an AFC West title and a first-round playoff victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Wishing the Broncos ill may not help Tim, but it’s what they deserve. What a horrible group of people. Decker and some of the other players are now openly bashing Tim on the radio and in print media. Here’s hoping they land flat on their egotistic faces.
David Fostor: Even though I feel the same way, it just stands to reason if they did this to someone like Tebow, then they will have no problems/qualms in acting that way with others; and they had better be careful what they wish for b/c they just might get it and then it will be too late to say sorry we made a mistake b/c no one of any character/conscience will want to play for that organization…will be hard pressed to find someone with all the qualities of T2!!! Wow yes the bashing has begun by fellow team mates makes me sick. Without Tebow last year the Broncos would have been low man on the totem pole and never made the playoffs! Some of the these players bashing Tebow may well be gone from the team as well, when Manning brings in his team mates!

My two cents – What a once in a lifetime opportunity for Tim to learn and develop under the tutelage of two hall-of-fame quarterbacks for a relatively short period (2-4 years). Tim has demonstrated the wisdom to not be tempted to bail out of this kind of situation, just because he won’t be starting for a few years. This could be the best win-win situation that that Tim & Denver have seen for some time!
Apparently, according to the news on a local channel, we will hear an announcement tomorrow concerning this situation and they are now down to two teams with one offering a third round pick; one happens to be in Florida (not the Dolphins) and the other is in NY (not the Giants).
Also, heard T2 would be happy in Florida; hope this is true and all goes well…praying too!!!

On the biggest media stage in the world, Tim will shine even brighter. The Jets coaching staff loves the wildcat offense, in which Tim will shine. And under the spotlight of the NY media, more people will see exactly what Tim Tebow is all about; Faith, Family, Helping Others, and yes, football. I know you Florida folks were hoping to get Tim back home, and I don’t blame you. For his sake, I’m glad he’s out of Denver and away from this horrible organization. I too, am now a New York Jets fan. The kids can’t wait to get new jerseys. Guess I’ll have to get the NFL network now as well. Tim was allowed to choose where he would go tonight and he chose the Jets. He did not want to go back to a team whose front office did not want him. Evidently, Rex Ryan convinced him he is really wanted in NY. In Jax, the coach and the GM did not want him but the owner did in order to sell tickets. We’ll see, I hope he has not been sold a bill of goods somehow. One good thing for Florida fans, we are in the Jets TV market and will get to see games. The Jets play in Jacksonville and in Nashville this year. Games to see in person? GBPT2!!
Wow I never thought I would be a Jets fan but now I am! Go Tebow! I too heard that Tebow picked the Jets over the Jaguars, he probably did not want to go back into a situation like Elway and Fox not supporting him. I just hope Rex Ryan and the coaching staff and GM and owner wanted him.
I have heard that Mark Sanchez and some of the team members do not want Tebow. I know Tebow will give his all no matter where he plays. I am tired of hearing all the bashing analyst say this will hurt Mark Sanchez’s feeling and confidence, come on he has been playing for several years and has not done welll the last two years. I feel he needs to compete and work for the starting job and show it on the field, if Tebow comes in and gets the chance to compete for the starting job and it is a fair competition I feel Tebow will win.
I know Tebow has been working all the time on his foot work and throwing motion and has gotten better. I have total faith that he will do great things and will win several super bowls before he retires. Go Tebow.

I’m looking at it this way. Tim is on a much bigger stage and will have a positive impact on more people in NY, then our little Rocky Mountain cow town. I hated to see him go, because I enjoy having him around and watching him play. But he has a good NFL track record now, a great pedigree, and a much larger fan base simply by being a NY Jet. If ever there was a place that needed a great man of God, NYC is it. And let’s not feel too sorry for Tim. He’s a multi-millionaire, good looking 24 year old man with a bright future, a loving family, millions of fans, and a God that is laying up tons of rewards for him in eternity. And make no mistake, he’s in NYC to compete for the starting job.

I think we can all look forward to a bright future for Timmy. God has gotten him out of Denver’s hands. I am hearing that he has really improved over the summer. He knows from last year that he’s got to show it in camp. I think Sanchez is very vulnerable. His and Timmy’s stats from last year are not all that different. Given the fact that Sanchez has been a starter and had all that preparation and experience, he should be light years ahead of Timmy, but he’s not. Lots of ESPN and NFL people say Tebow may be starting sooner than we think. Coach Ryan loves a ground and pound guy (according to them) and Sanchez is not that, Timmy is. If Timmy shows promise passing, either in camp or when he does get into games, Sanchez may lose out. I listened to the JETS GM this morning and he is so much more enthusiastic about Tebow. They really want him as a football player, not just to sell tickets like the owner in Jax. No shady,guarded comments, just great, positive praise for Timmy as a player. This may be just what Timmy needs. GPT2!!!

THEN ELWAY TRIED TO MAKE SURE THAT WHOEVER HE TRADED TEBOW TO WOULD NOT POSE MUCH OF A THREAT TO THE BRONCOS ORGANIZATION OR SO HE HOPED IMO!!!!)

Wow amen! I agree so much with you! All lying scumbags the whole crew! Now Tebow is a Jet and the Jet fans do not want him, they are all bashing him in their fan blogs, makes me sick. So many untrue stories out there as well about Tebow. They even have a story in the New York Post that Tebow is trying to move in next to Sanchez!
I also see that elrot has taken all the pictures of Tebow out of Dove Valley, he may take away the pictures but he cannot take away the franchise records Tebow broke or the NFL records either!
The so called Denver fans most of them make me sick as well, at mile high report they are all bashing Tebow, and are glad he is gone, along with the Tebow fanantics I guess that is me lol, and many others. Tebow was done so wrong by the Broncos organization and most of the players are bashing him as well. I guess they don’t realize if it was not for Tebow putting passion and fire back into that team they would not have won a play off game and Manning would not even have given them a second glance. I hope they all fall flat on their faces.
Elrot wants to give Manning atleast 3 years to win a superbowl, wow a player with all his greatness should be able to win before then, Elrot would not even give Tebow an offseason and a full season of play.
I pray that Tebow does well with the Jets, but I am so tired of him being bashed by so many. He is not a wildcat player either tired of hearing this as well. He is an NFL starting quarterback! Tebow will lead the team that believes in him to many super bowl wins, if only they believe in him.

Couldn’t believe this quote regarding how popular Tebow’s merchandise continues to be since they sold out Denver’s Online ProShop: “I guess Denver’s online shop is now stocking up on Peyton Manning neck braces to sell.”

Many of you can understand the skepticism with Jets fans with regards to Tebow, right? He’s going to win them over, but it will take time. Do not expect them to embrace him overnight. New York is different and tough, but I’m glad he’s there. It’s a great franchise and great coaches. It’s a huge upgrade over Denver. Tim will win over his teammates and NY fans, but be patient. I would just avoid the blogs and forums until he’s given a chance to prove himself and actually WIN games. Even at that, there will always be haters. Just accept that as part of Tebow-dom. There’s no point complaining about it. Tim’s had haters/skeptics all his life and he puts up with it without complaining, and I think we should follow Tim’s example.
I know this post won’t make it and afater Monday I will carless about Frankenstein and his circus. But trust me most of Denver is ealted that Big John did the right thing and told Frankenstein and his circus to leave town. The Frankenstein expierment is over in Denver couldn’t be happier.

Dear ck, tisa, David Fostor, tawk, Cindy, Ren-Ren and Brooke: I just wanted to thank all of you soo much!!! You have all said what I have been feeling! I am really having a hard time accepting this! I even had to go down to the front of our church last Sunday morning to ask if someone could pray with me. I told the man that offered to pray with me, “I know that this happens everyday in professional sports; but, something about this seemed so WRONG — EVEN EVIL.” The very wise and spiritual man said, “I know, I am a Tim Tebow fan too, and many people are having a hard time with this.” He then said, “Try to look at it this way, imagine how sad JESUS’ followers were when HE left Nazareth, and so on, and so on. Every time HE left somewhere, HE went on to HELP MORE AND MORE PEOPLE. We need to ‘let Tim go’ for the GREATER GOOD, and remember, GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL!” The nice man at church helped me, just as you all have helped me! I love you all and wish that I could give each one of you a great big hug! I hope that does not sound creepy! (I am a 46-year-old mother of two!) It just has been so comforting to have somewhere to go to be with people who share my same feelings. I, for one, will NOT watch the Bronco games any more or support them in any way. 3 Reasons Why Peyton Manning And The Broncos Will Fail In 2012
The schedules have been released and if you are a Broncos fan, it looks daunting.
But the nation is lifting its spirits, because Peyton Manning has arrived. Logic dictates that if a quarterback like Tim Tebow could not only get this team to the playoffs but help them win a game, imagine what a real quarterback could do.
The nation, however, is about to find out that this is faulty logic. Consider this…
1) The Broncos running back, Willis McGahee, benefitted a ton from the switch to Tim Tebow. Tebow was incredibly erratic. Defenses ended up focusing more on him running than on McGahee. Just look at the numbers. In the first four games, McGahee ran for 256 yards. But in the following four games, while Tebow was the quarterback, he ran for 364, more than a hundred yards more. The strong running numbers McGahee put up in 2011 were a mirage. These numbers will return to their former level after the Broncos return to a more conventional offense. It should also be noted that McGahee missed a game for each of the quarterbacks in the first half. Should this trend continue, Denver will once again have a slightly better than average running back who is only there on occasion.
2) Yes, but… Peyton Manning! We have Peyton Manning! There are some things about Peyton Manning that, in all the excitement, everybody forgot to check on.
A) To start with, with the exception of 2009, Peyton Manning’s quarterback rating has dropped every year since 2004.
B) The last time Peyton Manning came into a team for the first time and took over was his rookie year : He went 3 -13 and that was with Marshall Faulk and Marvin Harrison in their primes. With all due respect, who do the Broncos have who is even close?
C) The last time Peyton Manning was a full-time quarterback, the Colts played six teams with over .500 records. They went 2 – 4. But it is not so much that they lost, but the way they lost that is the most revealing.
First, they played the Giants. The Colts won 38-14. But Peyton Manning was 20/26 for 255 with 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Next was Kansas City. The Colts won 19-9. But this time Peyton Manning went 26/44 for 244 with 0 TDs and 1 INT. Don’t see the pattern yet?
Against the Eagles, Peyton Manning had 51 pass attempts. He threw 1 TD and 2 INTs.
Against the Patriots, he had 52 pass attempts. He threw 4 TD and 3 INTs.
Against the Chargers, 48 pass attempts, 2 TDs and 4 INTs.
Compare that to the Jets, he had 26 attempts, 1TD and 0 INTs
The point is that Peyton Manning has become a game manager. If you ask him to direct an offense and disperse the ball to other players, he looks like Peyton Manning. If you ask him to throw it anymore than 35 times a game, he turns into Kyle Orton. Which do you think the Broncos are more likely to ask for? Make no mistake, unless drastic changes are made to bolster the running game, they are going to get Kyle Orton.
3) Here are some obscure things nobody’s thought about. With this schedule to start the year, the Broncos will start 1-5 going into the bye week. Peyton Manning has always been the golden boy. He has never had to endure any real criticism. Now he is likely going to have to endure some real fan anamosity. How is he going to react? We can all guess, but it will be a completely new experience for him. There is also the issue of the four surgeries to his neck. It may feel OK now, but how is it going to feel when the muscles and tendons start to freeze up? How is it going to affect things like range of motion for the head and reaction time? And all of that also assumes nobody dares to do something like sack him.
People tend to look for the best in superstars careers. Its called “the halo effect.” This is not to say Peyton can’t be successful, but it is going to take a while. In the meantime, there will be suffering in Denver. People are looking forward to the end of the season with playoff implications in their hearts. But for the 2012 season, the Denver Broncos will finish 6-10 if they are lucky. This will only happen if they find a way to recover from a 1 and 5 start.
This May turn out to be wishfuk thinking But you never know.
