Pajo The NFL stud who seemed to receive the most attention this Super Bowl weekend wasn’t even playing in the game. The guy who was at the center of every media mob was none other than Tim Tebow.
Waiting on the red carpet at the ESPN magazine event Friday night, you would have thought Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived when Tebow walked through the metal detector and set off a shutterbug frenzy.
Deciding not to do any interviews, but rather just pose for photographers and video crews, Tebow had no idea that the real fan mob would descend once he stepped foot inside the party.
No one was more aggressive when it came to getting the young football star’s attention than “Extra” TV host Maria Menounos. The Tebow enthusiast talked with the player for more than two hours before convincing him to “Tebow” with her.
“I was his first,” Menounos told me the following day. “He told me at the party he had never ‘Tebowed’ with anyone else before, ever.”

ck- love the GBPT2!! Will use it from now on. Tebow and his O-line spent their day in a children’s hospital yesterday. They posted lots of pictures to the foundation website. Like that much better than the weekend coverage. Got my Team Tebow package. The t-shirt is really nice. Need to find some venue to take my grandsons to “make someone’s day brighter and to show God’s love.” GBPT2!!!

Maybe there’s more to this story than being reported. “Tebowing” is very personal to Tim and I can’t see him letting cougar-Menounos talk him into doing it just for fun.
Maybe she asked him to pray with her about something, but I don’t think he would assume the “Tebowing ” position to do that. I think she did play him to get him to do it. Personally, I hope the Tebowing thing dies down because it has become a travesty of something that is meaningful to Timmy and those of us who are Christians and love him so much because of his courage and stance as a Christian. We all make mistakes and Timmy is literally living in a mine field full of people who want to distroy him. The devil often comes in the guise of something beautiful. Timmy is so fortunate to have Robbie and his devotion to him. GBPT2!!!!
