Tim Tebow’s W15H Program

Stauart Zaas at the Denver Broncos official blog wrote a great article about Tim Tebow‘s W15H program, which is part of what he does through the Tim Tebow Foundation.

Each week through the W15H program, Tebow brings families of those individuals who have fought medical hardships trips to Denver or the city that the Broncos are playing in. The trips include transportation, hotel and meals. Tebow meets with the participant, who is chosen through his foundation, before and sometimes after the game. The program provides the families with tickets to the game, pregame sideline passes, W15H luggage and gifts from Jockey and Nike. Tebow has even given participants his game-worn jersey from the games they’ve attended.

Tebow is not the only player in the NFL who has a foundation and does great things in the community – it happens all over, just doesn’t get reported as much. Tim is a high profile athlete, probably one of the most recogizable names in all of sports. Right up there with Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods and Derek Jeter. It’s awesome to see that someone with such a wide following and high profile is using that platform for good.
