Pajo For months all we’ve heard is that Elway isn’t sure Tim Tebow will be the QB of the future in Denver. I think now he is finally sold, even after seeing a loss to the Patriots — where really Tim didn’t play that bad.
In an interview with the Associate Press:
“Tim Tebow’s not going anywhere,” Elway said. “I mean, he’s going to be a Bronco and we’re going to do everything we can and hopefully he’s that guy.”
When asked about comments he made a month ago indicating that he didn’t feel any better about Tim Tebow as a QB than he did a year ago, Elway had this to say:
“I think that comment was probably a little bit too blunt,” Elway told The AP on Tuesday. “Because I think the big picture with Tim is we’ve got to see the whole body of work. And so really what you want to see with him is the improvement that’s going to happen over time.
“Because, he’s done what we knew he could do and where we’ve seen his progress is what he does within the pocket. What we’ve said, and I said it when I first got here, was we know Tim’s a great player and what we’ve got to do is make him a great quarterback, and what I’ve learned is you’ve got to be able to win from within the pocket.”
If the Broncos win this weekend, and the Raiders lose then the Broncos will be AFC West Champions for the first time since 2005. they’d be foolish not to bring back Tim for the long haul after delivering that Christmas present to the citizens of Denver.

There is a rumor around Jax and the net that the new owner of the Jags would do what ever it takes to trade for Tebow the home town boy should be playing at home I am sure HE WOULD FILL THE SEATS just like he does in denver, It would sure be the Jags gain and the Broncos loss.

As ya’ll know, I don’t like Elway because I don’t like the way he has treated Timmy and I still don’t trust him. His favorable comments may be intended to make it look like he wants to keep Tebow in order to up the anty for him. If other teams think Elway doesn’t want him, they won’t offer as much to get him. As much as I would like to see Timmy in Jacksonville, a day drive from here, it might not be the best thing. The new owner could move the Jags to LA or even London, farther away than Denver.It would be a dream come true to see Tebow in Florida again. Mean while, Go Broncos, all the way to the playoffs! tisa: I’m with you on Elway and feel as though his intentions are suspect based on past behavior…his words don’t necessarily line up with any of his actions and that is a BIG RED FLAG IN MY BOOK!!! WILL START BELIEVING WHEN HE NAMES TEBOW AS THE FRANCHISE QB OF THE FUTURE PLUS BACKING IT UP BY DRAFTING MORE PLAYERS TO PROTECT HIM AS WELL AS MORE RECEIVERS TOO! THIS MIGHT ACTUALLY SHOW EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OF T2 WHILE HAVING HIS BEST INTERESTS AT HEART SINCE HE HAS GONE ON RECORD AS PROMISING TO PERSONALLY HELP HIM OVER THE TRAINING PERIOD…WE WILL SEE IF HE KEEPS HIS WORD ON THIS AND IT IS NOT ANOTHER ONE OF HIS USED CAR SALESMAN PITCHES!!!
