There has been a lot of movement the past few days with the NFL Lockout – so I’ve read. We could be coming to an end, as owners continue to meet every day to try and come to an agreement with the players. One general manager said they’re “at the 5-yard line” – it’s time to just punch it in and sign the deal.
During the lockout, players haven’t been able to practice at the team facilities or workout with the coaches. Tim Tebow and several other Broncos have been working out at Valor Christian High School. If the lockout ends soon and the players don’t miss any training camp, then I think Tim Tebow has a great shot at winning the starting job over Kyle Orton. Offensive coordinator Mike McCoy said he wants an exciting offense – well, no player is more apt to bring excitement to the field than Tebow.
From what I’ve read, I think you may be right that an agreement is near. Sure hope so. I know Timmy will win the QB job if he gets the opportunity, just because he’s Tebow!
