Is Tim Tebow No. 2 on the Depth Chart

Is Tim Tebow No. 2 on the Denver Broncos depth chart? According to an article I just read on the Sporting News, he is. Broncos Coach John Fox told Denver Post columnist Woody Paige that “deep down, I have an idea” who the starting quarterback will be. “We do have a depth chart.”

“I prefer a gamer to a good practice player,” Fox said, talking about how he evaluates quarterbacks. “I want someone who will execute under pressure in a game.”

I think Tebow has proven time and time again that he can execute under pressure and in big game situations, at least in college. He’ll need to be given a chance in Denver to prove he can do it in the NFL. Orton has never won anything – he was 3-10 as the starter last year.

Fox said: “We’ve got three quarterbacks who have started games in this league. I know that quarterback is the top priority in Denver — and there’s a reason why they are so important because the great ones are so hard to find — but I like the problem of having three to pick from.”

I think we it comes down to it, Timmy will be the man. In a poll on the Denver Post website, 85 percent picked Tebow, 11 percent voted for Orton and 4 percent chose Quinn. The fans are behind him and everyone is anxious to see what he can do.
