The Next Broncos Head Coach?

John Elway is expected to be introduced as the new chief football executive of the Denver Broncos – this will mean he will oversee all football operations. His first piece of business will be finding a new coach. Will the Broncos go after a big name like Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden or Tony Dungy? Gruden has been vocal about his support and belief in Tim Tebow for years – he would be a great fit in that regards. Tony Dungy is a devout Christian and has a lot in common with Tim, but he hasn’t really expressed any interest in coming back to the coaching game.

So who does that leave? Well, looks like the Broncos will be going after some of the hot coordinators around the league. The Broncos will be interviewing Mike Mularkey, current Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator and former Buffalo Bills coach on Friday. Mularkey has done a great job with Matt Ryan and the Falcons and would be a nice hire for the Broncos. It’s not a done deal though, as Mularkey is also interviewing with the Cleveland Browns this week.

Who do you think should be the next Broncos head coach? Who do you think would be not only a good fit for the team but benefit the development of Tim Tebow? And support him as being the starter in 2011…
