New Broncos head coach John Fox isn’t ready to just hand the starting job over the Tim Tebow. He’s going to have to compete for it against Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn (and any other QB the Broncos bring in).
“Just like any position, they’ll compete and we’ll go from there,” Fox said of his quarterbacks in an interview on the Dan Patrick Show. “It’s too early for me to say… I’m going to evaluate guys on grass and we’ll have to see when we get those opportunities.”
Hopefully the NFLPA and the Owners reach a new collective bargaining agreement sooner rather than later. If an agreement isn’t reach by like March, the players will be locked out and not allowed to practice at the facilities. That means no mini-camps or training camp until the agreement is signed. This could hurt Tim’s chances of winning the starting job.
You know what, I’m getting tired of reading about what these people have to say. They say what they need to say to further their own interests. It also seems they say things to manipulate the media and other teams as well. Maybe he thinks if other teams think they don’t want Orton, they won’t get as much when they try to trade. One day they say one thing and the next day they say something else. I am about ready to just stop reading anything anyone other than Tim has to say. I’m not sold on this coach who was fired from another team nor am I sold on John Elway. I think John Elway might just hate seeing his number one standing with the Denver folks fade away as Tim’s star rises. How much would he be willing to do to put that off as long as possible and delay Tim’s career? They are changing from McDaniel’s offense next year anyway so Orton would be in a learning curve as well. As far as competing goes, Tim will work as hard as he can to win that competition, while it seems at least some of his team mates will be dealing with serious legal issues during the off season. Tim’s progress will sky rocket if they let him play.
Did Mark Sanchez compete for a starting job, Did Jay Cutler compete? No, You just know and and believe in the athlete you drafted and you get them ready to play. Tebow is ready to play and has that come back ability and is a warrior. Don’t pay attention to the national media, Tebow will start next year and will be the leader of of his Team.
Lock and load Tebows ready.

Go Broncos,
God Bless,
Glen Ocana
Tim Tebow will be the starter next year. The Broncos are posturing so they can get as much as possible in a trade for Kyle Orton. Tebow is a great competitor and he is working his butt off in the gym and the film room here in Denver. Also make no mistake about it John Elway and Pat Bowlen love Tim Tebow and they made sure they hired a coach who was on the same page. Tim Tebow is the better football decision and business decision for the Denver Broncos. It’s a ‘no-brainer’ Tim Tebow is the guy.
