If he contributes to your team, then keep him in for the rest of the game. If he doesn’t, then put Kyle Orton in for the rest of the game and keep Tebow on the sidelines!!! The only action that hmms yes has beann veryy nice article babsBack to what I was saying. You could play Tebow for your first couple of drives. See what he can pull off. The Broncos drafted him in the very first round of the NFL draft. You say that you want to see what he can do for your team. Well, he can't do anything for your team if you wont let him play!!! Back to what I was saying. You could play Tebow for your first couple of drives. If he contributes to your team, then keep him in for the rest of the game. If he doesn't, then put Kyle Orton in for the rest of the game and keep Tebow on the sidelines!!! The only action that Tebow has seen is in the preseason, 4th and shorts, and at the 1 or 2 yard-line! You can't judge a player by putting him in for only 5 or 6 plays per game!!! The Broncos have a bye week this week in week 9. When they get back from their bye week, they will play against the Kansas City Chiefs. No offense to the Broncos, but the Chiefs are 5-2. You're 2-6. The way that the Chiefs are playing this season, combined with the way that the Broncos are playing this season, this looks like a Broncos loss unless the Chiefs fall apart or the Broncos come together. Neither of which is something that I think will happen the week after next. Which makes me stick to my opinion even more. Let Tebow play. If he does good, then he will get to see some decent playing time against a pretty decent team. If he doesn't do very good, then it probably won't hurt you. Josh McDaniels has one whole week to think about what he should do about his quarterback in week 10. To me, the choice is downright obvious. Even if you go undefeated for the rest of the season, you probably wont be in the playoffs anyways. You're in a league with the very good Chiefs, and the decent Raiders. If you let Tebow in, it's not like you're putting your entire season on the line. You will get to see how good Tebow can really play, and see how he will be able to contribute to your team in the future. You know what I say about the Broncos situation with Tim Tebow? The only thing they can really salvage from their season this year is their pride. There is little point not to start Tebow. He needs experience and these games aren't vitally important. He needs playing time, and now is his chance.Stats or no stats–the Broncos are doing bad as a whole.

I watch Bronco games and then I watch other NFL teams and I can see that they have a very poor O line. I also do not think the media or Bronco fans ( not those of us who have been fans of Tebow's for years) will allow Tebow to make the mistakes that most rookie QBs make. They will crucify him. I think the team has potential when the O line and some other aspects mature, but they are not there now and I don't think sacrificing Timmy's development is going to help them this year. Orton is not what is really wrong with the team. He doesn't have the fire and presence that Timmy has, but I don't think anyone will accomplish much behind that line.I agree with CK. Plus, Coach McDaniels realizes that if he plays too soon without knowing all the defensive reads it would not benefit anyone and could be detrimental in developing a franchise QB!!

It's not really Orton's fault..maybe things would get better if they put Timmy in, you never know. I agree with Brooke that he has not gotten much practice or play time, and Coach McD should put let him throw the ball out there. But hey, since their chances of making the playoffs are not likely at all, what's the harm in putting in Tebow, it will do Tim some good. Who knows? It might even help the team.Orton has played great in the league. Early on in the season, he was rated the #1 QB in the NFL. When he dove down to avoid contact 2 yards short of the first down on a critical 3rd down play, that told me everything I need to know. Put in Tebow. He is a winner.Let’s be honest, Orton’s individual stats are great but 3rd down efficiency and win-loss record are terrible.
