Every night on the local news stations there is some kind of reference to him and the weekend sports sections in the newspapers consistantly write about him. Denver media seems to be blown away by the star power Tebow has. But I'm not! (And neither is my poor husband who went to FSU!) As a G'ville native, UF grad and Denver resident for the last 10 years, it's awesome to see him out here. The diehard Broncos fans seem to be mixed about him--they don't care about college ball too much out here so even though Broncos fans have heard of Tebow and see the obvious buzz he causes, they are skeptical of what he can do because they haven't seen him in action. But McDaniels is right when he says the things that are "wrong" with Tebow can be fixed but you can't teach character, drive or love of the game. The last five years have been lukewarm for Broncos fans, but I think they will all change their minds on Sept. 12. Especially when they see how nutty the fans are for Tebow in Jacksonville!
