The fan mail just keeps pouring in! I hope I can find the time to go through them all. Once again, I just have to reiterate how amazing Tim Tebow’s fans are. People of all ages, religions, professions, etc are showing nothing but kindness towards Tim as he recovers from his first ever concussion. It’s gestures like this that keep a player going and help them get better.
Today’s fan letter comes from Sherry L. (I changed her name slightly for privacy reasons). Sherry wants to wish Tim a speedy recovery.
Tim:
I know you get thousands of fan mail every day, of which all are well deserved. I have been watching the Gators since way before the Danny Wuerfuel period and you by far are truly the greatest Gator! I truly admire your faith and your stand you have for your Christian and how you are NEVER ashamed of Him. And I know you know that if we are ashamed of Him so he will be of us. Each week I watch you, I look for your inspiring scripture you have under your “beautiful” eyes (had to add that).
This past Saturday, you had which is one of my very favorite ones, Isaiah 40:31, which was so fitting for you considering you were under the weather with your illness, but after that horrible tackle you received, of which I am only one of many who was in tears as you lay not moving and I was praying for that instant devine intervention for you as I watched in Tampa, but then I thought about that scripture, and it just fit! You will rise and soar as eagles with the upcoming game next week at LSU. I had dreamed of coming to The Swamp to watch you play your final year but unfortunately financially I cannot do that, but know that each week, here in Tampa, you have a fan who is dedicated to watching as you complete you momentus collegiate career and move on to what God has in store for you. I know you will trust in him to direct your paths and wherever your feet land, will be exactly where God wants them to be at that moment in your life. I pray for you speedy recovery and look forward to watching you play again on October 10 showing everyone that, no, there are not weapons formed against you that will prosper.
Thanks for being the person you are and I only hope maybe by some divine intervention we could meet face to face. You are MY inspiration to be a better person. Thank you Tim!
If you would like to send us a fan email, we’d be glad to post it on the website. Please us the contact us form.
I am a mother of five and have one son that I am very proud of. You remind me of my son. Your parents must be so proud just as I am of my son. He never played football which I love so I enjoy watching you. What a inspiration to all young men out there. When you got hurt my heart stopped. Glad to see you are feeling better. Go Gators
