Pajo This afternoon at the SEC Media Days, a reporter asked Tim Tebow if he is a virgin, to which Tim replied “Yes, I am.” First, I’m not sure what that question had to do with college football and the Florida Gators. And second, that’s a pretty bold question to ask anyone, let alone a super star athlete.
But was anyone surprised by his answer? Tim has never strayed from his faith and is as openly Christian as anyone I’ve ever seen. Part of the Christian faith is to save yourself for marriage… to not engage in premarital sex. Tim follows the Bible, so it’s no surprise that he follows this part of the scripture as well.
In college, guys and girls, are tempted by the party lifestyle every single day. I can’t imagine the will power and strength it must take for someone as popular as Tim Tebow to restrain from sin and stay on the right path. Let’s face it, Tim could have any woman he wants at Florida. I’ve posted here a dozen times all the pictures he’s taken with women by the pool or at a party. I’m sure any time he goes out women are throwing themselves all over him. Not many people would be able to resist that temptation. The fact that Tim can, just grows his legend even more.
How can you not completely respect Tim for his answer (“Yes, I am”). He did not hesitate and did not think twice after hearing such a personal question. Tebow would never lie. He has an opportunity to use his fame and speaking opportunities to reach thousands of teenagers and talk to them about abstinence. By admitting his virginity, hopefully other guys (high school athletes) won’t be ashamed to admit theirs.
The more we are exposed to Tim Tebow, the more you have to love this guy. He just does everything the right way. I’m not sure if he’s dating anyone, but one day he’ll make a woman very happy and will have some special saved for his wedding night.

Awhh! Tim is such a great guy!! He truely is the perfect man, and any girl would be extremely lucky to have him!
I think it’s so admirable for Tim to be able to state that without hesitation. Luck be the lady that gets married to him!
I just watched the video, and it’s really funny! You can tell he’s blushing a little bit. He jokes about it because the question really wasn’t expected haha!!

You guys should even go to TMV.com. When he was in L.A, for the ESPNY awards. They asked Tim, we hard you have a hot girlfriend and his reply was, I don’t have a girlfriend, and they asked him, so are you going to be looking for anyone here in L.A, and he said I don’t think so. So he he’s flying totally single!
I respect him so much for being willing to stand up for what he believes! Like the others have said the girl who gets him is going to be one lucky girl!
