David | Tell us what you think: I read an article on the Bleacher Report that listed 5 actors that could play Tim Tebow if they ever made a movie about #15. Personally, I don’t think the article listed any solid choices for Tim. Ideally, we’d like to have him play himself in a movie, but if Hollywood were to cast someone else… who would it be? Who can you see portraying Tebow? It would have to be someone big and strong… someone vocal and inspiring.
Here’s the list of five actors from the article:
- Jake Gylenhaal
- Chris Pine
- James Van Der Beek
- Channing Tatum
- Mark Paul Gosselaar
The only one of those I can see getting this role would be Chris Pine, from the new Stark Trek. I think he has the look and body build to play Tim. Other actors I would consider include: Christian Bale (might be too old), Hayden Christensen (Anakin in Star Wars) and James Franco.

I agree. I think Chris Pine would be good! He has gorgeous blue eyes like Tim and dark hair. He is also a good actor! He was great in Star Trek! I really hope to see a Tim Tebow movie in the future!!!!
Chris Pine would be good. He needs to add about 40lbs of muscle though…
Definitely Channing Tatum! But the others are good choices too.
There is ONE actor who is a TWIN of Timmy Tebow and he was the star of the movie BLAST FROM THE PAST. It is a very cute story about a kid who goes underground during a bomb testing time and comes out 20 years later..
This actor is the only actor who looks JUST like Tim.

Praying for Tim to continue to be blessed by God. Wish Tim would open a church in ORlando and visit Calvary Chapel…he can tune in on 950 am to listen.
I think Channing Tatum would be the best for the role because he has more of the body style that Tim Tebow has.

That actor’s name is Brendan Fraser & in BFTP he looked amazingly like Tim. However, that film was made over a decade ago-Brendan’s now in his 40’s. There’s no way he could play a college student or even someone in his 20’s.
Also, I agree w/Architectlink about BFTP: it’s a fun little indie film.
