Pajo It’s not often a football player is immortalized at his stadium, especially when he hasn’t graduated yet. Well, the University of Florida has decided to recognize Tim Tebow with a plaque just outside the football experience at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. On the plaque are the words Tebow spoke following the Ole Miss loss during the 2008 season. His words inspired the Gator Nation and ignited them onwards to a National Championship.

This monument will stand as an eternal testament to Earth’s greatest human and 500,000 years from now, when alien archeologists dig up this everlasting tribute from the watery ruins of our failed civilization, even they will understand the true meaning of perseverance and fortitude.

I am really trying hard to get this letter to Tim Tebow. My son is your biggest fan. This means alot to me because of your faith and you believe in God and use your talents for his glory. I am desperately writing you this letter because I have prayed for an answer to my son’s problem and think you are it. My son has struggled since his dad left five years ago. He doesn’t believe God loves him because he thinks we wouldn’t have lost everything. I am a media clerk at the high school library where he is a junior. I am wondering if there is any way you could spend a day with my son. He played football until this past year and plays baseball now where his baseball coach has really tried to help. He has not been to church in 7 months. Please get in touch with us. I could carry him to you. I know you get a lot of requests and you don’t have alot of time, but please think about this. He is very private and meeting you I think would give him great inspiration. He has been through alot in his life and this would mean the world to this single mom.

This is sooo cool!!! I have his promise memorized…I’ve heard it so many times!!! It is so inspirational!!! That is also such an honor!!! I would probably look at it and read it for 30 minutes reading it because I would be so mesmorized!!! This is what really make me think Tim was a great guy and this is what made me love him and the gators!! I know he will keep up the good work for his senior season and one day the pros!!!!

I am not a Florida fan but a Alabama fan. I have watched Tim for four years and I have been so impressed how he handles himself and always gives God the praise. I need to get in touch with Tim to see if he could come to our private Christian School in Columbiana Alabama. Our school is 12 years old. We are struggling with finanical problems. Here is a summary of where we have been and where we are now. I have been writing to you about Cornerstone Christian School. Our first football team we played 8 man football and we were the smallest team out there and we got our head beat in. When the kids practiced they would have to pick up rocks off the practice field between plays. We then stepped out on faith and borrowed the money to build a small set of bleachers for the fans. We laid sod for hours and a few of the football players slept on the field the first night we finished. We then prayed on the dirt where we wanted a gym to sit. We got a concrete pad and then we prayed on the pad for the building. We traveled 137 games on the road to play all volleyball and basketball games before we finished the gym. The first season in the gym we won our 1st state championship. We have made many strides but right now we are facing a possibility of the school not making it. I would love to have Tim come to our school and speak and maybe we could sell tickets for a dinner and raise the money we so desperately need. We need to raise $114,000.00 before 1/28/2010 before we can take applications for the 2010-2011 school year. If there is any way you could get this message to Tim I would truly appreciate it. I know that Cornerstone is God’s school because this year alone we have baptized three students during chapel in front of their piers. God is doing a great work at CCS. We need a little help getting our financial affairs in the black. If someone cold help us please contact me. In Christ Love.
i am a huge tim tebow fan. people always bug me in school and stuff and say he isn’t going to make it in the nfl but i know he will adjust to it. and he is a great perosn overall, but anyway this speech is such and inspiration i am reinacting it in school as a project.
