Tim Tebow helped the Florida Gators “stomp” the Georgia Bulldogs 49-10 on Saturday in the annual FL vs. GA game in Jacksonville. The Gators dominated the Dawgs on both sides of the ball, causing turnovers and being able to capitalize one them.
Tebow was 10-13 for 154 yards plus 2 touchdowns and he had 12 rushing attempts for 39 yards plus 3 touchdowns. Tim’s passing stats look a bit low, but that’s because on one possession the Gators started on the Dogs 40 yard line (thanks to a unsuccessful onside kick from the Dogs) and on another possession they started at the 1 yard line (thanks to a Haden interception return). Also add in the fact that the Gators were up the entire game and really had to reason to throw the ball, plus Brantley came into the game in the 4th.
Tim Tebow played a great game and he played with a lot of emotion. He turned to the crowd several times to get us pumped up. Thanks to the victory, the Gators moved up to No. 5 in the BCS Standings.
Here’s a highlight video from the game.
