Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators were able to come out of Fayetteville with a 38-7 victory over the Hogs. While the score looks great, anyone who watched the game probably didn’t have a great feeling during the first half. It took the Gators awhile to get things going, but once they did… they looked awesome.Tim Tebow ended the game 17-26 for 217 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. He also had 12 carries for 32 yards. Please note that 1 interception on the stat line. That was Tim’s first interception in some 200+ passing attempts. A Florida record, I think.

Overall, Tim played good football. He didn’t blow it up like I thought he might (you know, considering those comments he made after the Ole Miss game…). It didn’t help that the Gator offensive line played like complete GARBAGE. Not only were they not blocking (#75 I’m talking to you), but they were also committing penalties every series. We saw 1st and 30 several times. Tebow can’t create magic when he’s put in those situations.

Florida hosts LSU this week, so they’ll really need to be on their game to win this one.
