David | Tell us what you think: The Florida Gators hit the practice field today for the first time this fall. Only freshman participated in the morning practice (which kicked off at 6 a.m.!), but other team members, like QB Tim Tebow, should be out there for the afternoon session. He’ll probably take some quick reps to work on timing with his receivers.
Don’t expect any contact or scrimmages this practice. It’s too early. Coach Urban Meyer will want to make sure his players are conditioned before they get serious. Timmy will no doubt be pumped and ready for this afternoon’s practice. I’m sure a lot of fans a media will be out there to catch a glimpse of this rock star.
I’ll be sure to fill you in tonight or tomorrow with any reports on how he does in today’s practice.
