I’ve heard a rumor that the Spring Orange and Blue Gator game on April 12 will actually be televised on ESPN. This means that all you Tim Tebow fans outside of Gainesville will actually get to see him play some. Tebow will definitely have a red jersey on, because they don’t want to risk seeing him get injured, but that doesn’t mean he’ll play weak. Tebow will line it up and launch em down field.
I’ve also heard that Urban Meyer is making an event out of the Spring Practice game and that he will hold 40 yard dash contests between players and even have students on campus compete to see if they can run faster than the players. It should be in an interesting day!

YAY!!! ORANGE AND BLUE GAME! GO TIMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE U TIMMY!!!!
This just in:
A strange symbiote, similar to the one from the Spider-Man 3 movie, has been around Lake Alice in Gainesville.
Rumor has it that some spring practices are being held in the area. The players have run through infected areas despite being warned of the organism’s dangers.
No word on if Tim Tebow has exhibited markedly more aggressive behavior off of the football field.
EXCUSE ME VINCENT…U SHOULDNT B ON HERE IF U A TEBOW HATER..CAUSE I LOVE TIMMY VERY VERY VERY MUCH..MY GOD..U GOTA LOVE TIM 2 B ON T-E-B-O-W-Z-O-N-E!!!!!!!! DUHH!!!!!!!! I LOVE TIMMY AND GO GATORS..ADN DNT FORGET…TIMMY IS AMAZING AND UR JUST JEALOUS OVER HOW AMAZING THIS MAN IS..DUHHHHHHHHH
That wouldnt surprise me since most Tebow haters I’ve met are jealous of him. One person actually told me he hated him because he was TOO PERFECT. (I had the BIGGEST smile on my face when he said that)I can see why people are jealous of him though…I mean the man has more than one million adoring fans and the girls LOVE him. He’s got good looks, talent, and a amazing personality. What’s not to like?? If I was a guy I would definately be jealous of Timmy.
Ummmm, as I recall, there’s SUPPOSED to be a saying called “He’s too good to be true.”
Face it, the guy is always one rushing attempt away from a career-ending injury.
And his emotional outbursts. My goodness, he would never fit into the NFL if he cried after every loss. And we all want Timmy to do good wherever he goes, don’t we?
His throwing motion is just atrocious. He throws footballs in a fashion only a mother could love.
And what if, you know, he didn’t get those muscles by just working out a lot?
Look at yourselves, ladies. “The REAL Mrs. Tebow”? “The first, REAL, and ONLY Mrs. Tebow”?? There’s only one of him to go around, you know.
However, his brother Pete is an engineer at UF.
One of these days, somebody’s going to find a crack. There’s always a crack.
As for being a Tebow-hater, I have First Amendment rights.
OMFG U IDIOT VINCENT!!!!!! TIMMY IS DA MOST AMAZING MAN IN DIS ENTIRE WORLD…GO TIMMY HES AMAIZNG UR VERY VERY JEALOUS OF HIS AWSUMNESS ADN 4 DA LOVE WE HAV 4 HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UR A LOSER!!!!!!!!
If I were Tebow, I’d do the smart thing and go pro after my junior year.
With a ring and a Heisman, there would nothing more to prove in my college career.
Oh yeah, I’d also find a second-to-none agent and ink a multimillion shoe deal. Gotta keep the family fed, you know.
No, going pro after your junior year is NOT SMART. Like you said before Tebow “is always one rushing attempt away from a career-ending injury.” If he graduated from college he would have a fallback and if he did get injured he wouldnt have to worry about making a living.
By the way, he’s not on steriods and he’s not the only football player who has “emotional outbursts” after losses.(ex-Tom Brady,Tony Romo)
But the difference is, if he left with his health, he would have some “guaranteed money” in his contract. Compare that to a hurt Timmy who gets nuthin’. NUTHIN!
And what if there are deep, dark secrets that the football program isn’t telling us? Stuff that they wouldn’t want us to hear?
VINCENT! TIMMY WILL NVR GO PRO ON HIS JR. YEAR..CAUSE HE WANTS 2 HAV HIS GRADES AS HIS PRIORITY..IT AINT SMART DUDE, AINT SMART!
Tim Tebow will never shed this image of a system quarterback that has the stats he has because he has a spread field with athletes that make him the kind of quarterback he is. Now he has physical aspects that make him a bull of a runner, but the passing game is, for the most part, not really in his hands
TEBOW-HATERS…UNITE!!
Aren’t all QB’s system QB’s?? I mean they all try to run their SYSTEM to the best of their abilities. And the passing game all depends on if the QB can get the ball to the reciever right?? If he can’t get the ball to the reciever then there isn’t much of a passing game. The QB plays a very important part in pretty much everything that goes on in the game, offensively of course. Sure, the recievers play an important part too, but it all depends on how good the QB is.
Two words: Peyton Manning
1. Peyton Manning is the system in indy, there is no offense without him. The same is not true for Tebow and the Gators, even an average passer can have the highest passing efficiency in the country (point in case Vince Young who is a terrible NFL QB but was able to keep defenses off balance b/c of the spread and his ability to run, sounds like someone right ;)?).
2.No, not all QB’s are system QB’s. Take the example I just mentioned in Peyton. This is a quarterback who has not had weapons (minus Marvin) his entire career and was still good his first five seasons averaging over 20 td’s a season. He has what Tim doesnt- vision- and that’s why he is great at the next level. He has the knack for the deep ball, and most importantly the throw tebow cant deliver- the fifteen yard out route with precision.
3. Here at Mizzou I’ve seen an offense go from a talented run based offense with a talented running QB in Brad Smith to a pass first spread type attack that struggled at first, and didnt have the weapons at receiver to compete. After he left and Chase Daniel took the reigns, that offense all of sudden became a competitive one. The receiving corps became consistently one of the best in the conference, got two medicore tight ends from my local high school area in missouri national recognition and it was all b/c he had the arm and the field recognition to make it happen. The ball can go everywhere under pressure with Daniel, not with Tim.
