A lot of speculation went on before last Saturday’s game about the extent of Tebow’s injury. I even heard rumors online where Tebow was supposed to be finished for the rest of the season. Well, his performance put those rumors to rest.

“Tim’s not the most honest guy when it deals with injuries,” Meyer said Sunday. “He’s going to be so defensive about it - I’m fine, I’m fine, I’m fine. He made the comment to me that this week he thinks it’s as close to 100 percent as it’s been because he did not get hit one time [on the shoulder against Vanderbilt].”

Tebow did an excellent job avoiding big hits in the Vandy game. The offensive line protected him and didn’t allow one sack during the game, and Vandy is the SEC’s leading sack defense.

Tebow should be at full speed when the Gators head to South Carolina this weekend.
