It is homecoming week in Gainesville, Florida. You know what that means? The world’s largest student run pep rally, Gator Growl, is Friday night in the Swamp. Cheerleaders and dazzlers will be on hand to pump this team up. And boy do they need it. I always loved going to Gator Growl. I went to 4 of them from 2001-2004. The players always seem to respond well to the fans.
Frank Caliendo is this year’s headliner. He’s famous for his impressions. The George Bush and Al Pacino ones are great.
The Gators have lost 3 of their last 4 games. Even Tebow himself can’t carry this team anymore. The defense has got to step up and play like a real defense. The Gators will be taking on Vanderbilt Saturday at 12:30 for the homecoming game. I’ll have more on that in my game preview tomorrow.
