Not that Tim Tebow needs any help regrouping, but Gator Coach Urban Meyer called upon one of his best friends, former NFL star Cris Carter to help deal with the death of Gator teammate Guilford. Why Cris Carter? Because he went through a similar tragedy during his days in Minnesota when OT Korey Stringer died on the practice field from heat stroke.
“I think everybody was uplifted through it,” quarterback Tim Tebow said. “He was a great kid and I’m just thankful for the 19 years he had and all the lives he impacted, including myself. He was a special kid.”
